نجت حكومة الأقلية الفرنسية برئاسة سيباستيان لوكورنو من محاولات حجب الثقة في الجمعية الوطنية، والتي جاءت على خلفية خلاف بشأن الموازنة.
وحصد اقتراح حجب الثقة 267 صوتاً من أصل 577 في التصويت الأول، و140 صوتاً في التصويت الثاني، وهو عدد أقل من 289 صوتاً المطلوبة لرفض بند الإنفاق في مشروع قانون المالية وإجبار رئيس الوزراء على الاستقالة.
توقعات العجز
ويُمهد الفشل المتكرر لمحاولات إسقاط حكومة لوكورنو الطريق أمام فرنسا لاعتماد الموازنة الشهر القادم، عندما يعود مشروع القانون من مجلس الشيوخ إلى الجمعية الوطنية للقراءة النهائية.
وتتوقع الحكومة عجزاً بنسبة 5% من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي هذا العام، مقارنة بهدف أولي كان يبلغ 4.7%.
The French minority government led by Élisabeth Borne has survived attempts to pass a vote of no confidence in the National Assembly, which came against the backdrop of a budget dispute.
The no-confidence motion garnered 267 votes out of 577 in the first vote, and 140 votes in the second, which is fewer than the 289 votes required to reject the spending item in the finance bill and force the Prime Minister to resign.
Deficit Forecasts
The repeated failure of attempts to topple Borne's government paves the way for France to adopt the budget next month, when the bill returns from the Senate to the National Assembly for a final reading.
The government expects a deficit of 5% of GDP this year, compared to an initial target of 4.7%.
