أكد وزير الاستثمار المهندس خالد الفالح، أهمية القطاع الخاص ودوره التكاملي في المنظومة الاستثمارية، مبينا أن القطاع الخاص كان يشكل نحو 1.1 ترليون ريال من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي في 2016، وحقق الآن نحو 2.3 ترليون أي ما يعادل الضعف خلال 10 سنوات، لافتا إلى أن «من المهم أن نعظّمه خلال السنوات الخمس القادمة إلى أكثر من 2.4 ترليون ريال».
وقال: «كما هو معلوم فقد تضاعفت تدفقات الاستثمارات الأجنبية 4 مرات منذ إطلاق رؤية المملكة 2030، لتصل قرابة 120 مليار في 2024، وتجاوزنا حاجز الترليون ريال في رصيد الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر، كما تضاعف أيضا 100% عند المقارنة مع 2016»، مبينا أن هذه المؤشرات تؤكد أن مسيرة التحول الاقتصادي تتطلب استمرار التعاون والتكامل من جميع الأطراف من القطاعين العام والخاص.
جاء ذلك خلال لقاء الفالح اليوم، رئيس اتحاد الغرف السعودية حسن الحويزي، ورؤساء وممثلي مجالس الغرف التجارية، ورؤساء مجالس الأعمال السعودية الأجنبية المشتركة ورؤساء مجالس اللجان الوطنية في مقر اتحاد الغرف السعودية، بحضور مساعد وزير الاستثمار المهندس إبراهيم المبارك، ورئيس الهيئة السعودية لتسويق الاستثمار خالد الخطاف، وعدد من الوكلاء ومديري العموم، وقادة منظومة وزارة الاستثمار.
الاستثمار المحلي
ونوّه الوزير الفالح بالدور الكبير المنوط بالقطاع الخاص وأهميته الكبرى في النمو الاقتصادي، إذ حقق القطاع نموا في الاستثمار المحلي بلغت نسبته 76% في 2024، مفيدا بأن الاستثمار المحلي أصبح يشكل نحو 30% من الناتج المحلي الاجمالي.
ويهدف اللقاء إلى تعميق وتطوير الشراكات الإستراتيجية بين الوزارة والاتحاد، وفتح آفاق جديدة للتعاون مع القطاع الخاص، ومناقشة تحديات الاستثمار، وفق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، والإستراتيجية الوطنية للاستثمار المنبثقة عنها.
ونوقشت خلال اللقاء الموضوعات الاستثمارية المحورية المختلفة، وجرى تسليط الضوء على المبادرات المشتركة، واستعراض الإنجازات التي حققتها كل من وزارة الاستثمار واتحاد الغرف السعودية، وشراكات النجاح السابقة.
جلسة حوارية
وعُقدت على هامش اللقاء جلسة حوارية مفتوحة لوزير الاستثمار مع قادة الأعمال، ورؤساء الغرف التجارية واللجان الوطنية ومجالس الأعمال، نوقش خلالها أهم التحديات الاستثمارية، واستكشاف الفرص ذات الأولوية، وأُجيب عن بعض الأسئلة التي طرحها المستثمرون، وممثلو المجالس واللجان الوطنية.
وتضمن اللقاء عروضا تقديمية حول التشريعات الجديدة والخدمات والبرامج المتنوعة التي تقدمها وزارة الاستثمار لتمكين استثمارات القطاع الخاص، إضافة إلى تقديم عرض تعريفي لمنصة «استثمر في السعودية»، والخدمات والمعلومات التي تقدمها للمستثمرين، وتسليط الضوء على الفرص الاستثمارية في المملكة.
Minister of Investment Engineer Khalid Al-Falih emphasized the importance of the private sector and its integrative role in the investment ecosystem, noting that the private sector accounted for about 1.1 trillion riyals of the GDP in 2016, and has now reached approximately 2.3 trillion, which is equivalent to doubling over 10 years. He pointed out that "it is important to elevate it over the next five years to more than 2.4 trillion riyals."
He said: "As is known, foreign investment flows have quadrupled since the launch of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, reaching nearly 120 billion in 2024, and we have surpassed the one trillion riyal mark in foreign direct investment, which has also doubled by 100% compared to 2016," indicating that these indicators confirm that the economic transformation journey requires continued cooperation and integration from all parties in both the public and private sectors.
This came during Al-Falih's meeting today with the President of the Saudi Chambers Federation, Hassan Al-Huwaizi, and the heads and representatives of the chambers of commerce, as well as the heads of the Saudi foreign joint business councils and the heads of the national committees at the headquarters of the Saudi Chambers Federation, in the presence of the Assistant Minister of Investment Engineer Ibrahim Al-Mubarak, the Chairman of the Saudi Investment Marketing Authority Khalid Al-Khataf, and a number of agents, general directors, and leaders of the Ministry of Investment ecosystem.
Local Investment
Minister Al-Falih noted the significant role assigned to the private sector and its major importance in economic growth, as the sector achieved a 76% growth in local investment in 2024, indicating that local investment now constitutes about 30% of the GDP.
The meeting aims to deepen and develop strategic partnerships between the ministry and the federation, open new horizons for cooperation with the private sector, and discuss investment challenges, in line with the objectives of Vision 2030 and the national investment strategy derived from it.
During the meeting, various key investment topics were discussed, highlighting joint initiatives and reviewing the achievements made by both the Ministry of Investment and the Saudi Chambers Federation, as well as previous successful partnerships.
Dialogue Session
An open dialogue session was held on the sidelines of the meeting for the Minister of Investment with business leaders, heads of chambers of commerce, national committees, and business councils, during which the most important investment challenges were discussed, priority opportunities were explored, and some questions raised by investors and representatives of the councils and national committees were answered.
The meeting included presentations on new legislations, services, and various programs offered by the Ministry of Investment to empower private sector investments, in addition to an introductory presentation on the "Invest in Saudi Arabia" platform, the services and information it provides to investors, and highlighting investment opportunities in the Kingdom.
