أعلن مؤتمر مبادرة مستقبل الاستثمار قائمة أبرز القادة والرؤساء المشاركين في نسخته التاسعة، المقرر عقدها في الرياض خلال الفترة من 27-30 أكتوبر الجاري، تحت شعار «مفتاح الازدهار».
وكشف رئيس اللجنة التنفيذية الرئيس التنفيذي المكلّف لمؤسسة مبادرة مستقبل الاستثمار ريتشارد أتياس، خلال المؤتمر الصحفي، توقعات بتوقيع اتفاقات تفوق قيمتها 60 مليار دولار على هامش الفعاليات. وأشار إلى أن المؤتمر سيشهد حضوراً واسعاً من كبار المستثمرين وصنّاع القرار والخبراء من مختلف أنحاء العالم.
عقود تجارية
وقال أتياس: «النسخة التاسعة من مبادرة مستقبل الاستثمار، ستركز على مناقشة سبل إطلاق العنان لمفتاح الازدهار، والمحادثات ستتناول القضايا العالمية المرتبطة بالتقدم والابتكار والتجزئة، وما تثيره من تحديات وتناقضات في المشهد الاقتصادي العالمي».
ولفت إلى أن المؤتمرات السابقة للمبادرة شهدت توقيع اتفاقات وعقود تجارية بقيمة تجاوزت 200 مليار دولار خلال السنوات الثماني الماضية، شملت قطاعات عدة مثل اللوجستيات والطاقة النظيفة والعلوم والتكنولوجيا.
وأشار إلى أن القيمة الإجمالية للعقود الموقعة خلال المؤتمر الماضي تجاوزت 225 مليار ريال (نحو 60 مليار دولار).
فرص جديدة
وذكر أن نسخة هذا العام ستشهد مشاركة أكثر من 20 رئيس دولة، من بينهم رؤساء بلغاريا، وهنغاريا، وكوبا، وإكوادور، وغويانا، والعراق، وكوسوفو، وموريتانيا، ومونتينيغرو، وباكستان، ورواندا، وسورية، إضافة إلى نائب رئيس الصين، إلى جانب رؤساء شركات عالمية وصناديق استثمارية كبرى، لمناقشة سبل تعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي واستكشاف فرص جديدة في ظل التحولات العالمية الراهنة.
وأكد أن هذه المشاركة الواسعة تؤكد مكانة المبادرة كمنصة عالمية تجمع صناع القرار وقادة الاقتصاد.
وبيّن أن المؤتمر سيضم أكثر من 8000 مشارك و600 متحدث و250 جلسة حوارية، إلى جانب ورش عمل وجلسات نقاش بين رؤساء تنفيذيين ومسؤولين من مختلف دول العالم.
The Future Investment Initiative Conference announced the list of prominent leaders and co-chairs participating in its ninth edition, scheduled to be held in Riyadh from October 27-30, under the theme "Key to Prosperity".
Richard Attias, the Executive Chairman and Acting CEO of the Future Investment Initiative Foundation, revealed during the press conference expectations of signing agreements worth over $60 billion on the sidelines of the events. He noted that the conference will witness broad attendance from major investors, decision-makers, and experts from around the world.
Commercial Contracts
Attias stated: "The ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative will focus on discussing ways to unleash the key to prosperity, and the discussions will address global issues related to progress, innovation, and retail, along with the challenges and contradictions they raise in the global economic landscape."
He pointed out that previous conferences of the initiative witnessed the signing of agreements and commercial contracts worth over $200 billion during the past eight years, covering various sectors such as logistics, clean energy, and science and technology.
He indicated that the total value of contracts signed during the last conference exceeded 225 billion riyals (approximately $60 billion).
New Opportunities
This year's edition will see the participation of more than 20 heads of state, including the presidents of Bulgaria, Hungary, Cuba, Ecuador, Guyana, Iraq, Kosovo, Mauritania, Montenegro, Pakistan, Rwanda, and Syria, in addition to the Vice President of China, along with leaders of global companies and major investment funds, to discuss ways to enhance economic cooperation and explore new opportunities in light of the current global transformations.
He emphasized that this wide participation confirms the initiative's position as a global platform that brings together decision-makers and economic leaders.
He noted that the conference will include more than 8,000 participants, 600 speakers, and 250 panel discussions, along with workshops and discussion sessions between executives and officials from various countries around the world.
