رفعت وكالة الطاقة الدولية، توقعاتها لنمو المعروض العالمي من النفط، متوقعة ارتفاعه بمقدار 3 ملايين برميل يوميًا في 2025، مقارنة بتقديرات سابقة عند 2.7 مليون برميل يوميًا، على أن يزيد 2.4 مليون برميل يوميًا في 2026.
جاء ذلك مع ضخ تحالف أوبك+ المزيد من النفط بعد تسريع إلغاء بعض تخفيضات الإنتاج، في حين يظل الطلب العالمي على النفط ضعيفًا بسبب تباطؤ الاقتصاد وتوسع استخدام المركبات الكهربائية.
وخفضت الوكالة توقعاتها لنمو الطلب العالمي في 2025 إلى 710 آلاف برميل يوميًا، مقارنة بتقديراتها السابقة.
تجاوز المعروض
وقالت الوكالة إن السوق تبدو متخمة بالمعروض، إذ زاد الإنتاج العالمي في سبتمبر الماضي 5.6 مليون برميل يوميًا عن العام الماضي، وساهم أوبك+ بـ3.1 مليون برميل يوميًا منها، ومن المتوقع أن يتجاوز المعروض الطلب بنحو 4 ملايين برميل يوميًا في 2026.
وفي المقابل، أبقت أوبك على توقعاتها بنمو الطلب العالمي 1.3 مليون برميل يوميًا هذا العام، عادة أن الاقتصاد العالمي لا يزال قويًا.
وأسفرت هذه التوقعات عن انخفاض أسعار النفط، حيث جرى تداول خام برنت حول 62 دولارًا للبرميل، أعلى من أدنى مستوى له هذا العام عند 58 دولارًا في أبريل.

The International Energy Agency has raised its forecasts for global oil supply growth, expecting it to increase by 3 million barrels per day in 2025, compared to previous estimates of 2.7 million barrels per day, with an increase of 2.4 million barrels per day anticipated in 2026.
This comes as the OPEC+ alliance pumps more oil after accelerating the cancellation of some production cuts, while global oil demand remains weak due to an economic slowdown and the expanding use of electric vehicles.
The agency has lowered its forecasts for global demand growth in 2025 to 710,000 barrels per day, compared to its previous estimates.
Oversupply
The agency stated that the market appears to be oversupplied, as global production in September increased by 5.6 million barrels per day compared to last year, with OPEC+ contributing 3.1 million barrels per day of that. It is expected that supply will exceed demand by about 4 million barrels per day in 2026.
In contrast, OPEC has maintained its forecast for global demand growth at 1.3 million barrels per day this year, assuming that the global economy remains strong.
These forecasts have resulted in a decline in oil prices, with Brent crude trading around $62 per barrel, higher than its lowest level this year of $58 in April.
