أكد وزير التجارة الهندي «بيوش جويال» اليوم (الجمعة) إن بلاده تتحرك نحو استكمال المرحلة الثانية من اتفاق التجارة مع أستراليا قريبًا، في إطار مساعٍ لتعزيز حضورها في الأسواق الدولية.
وأضاف الوزير أن صادرات الهند في عام 2025 ستتجاوز مستويات العام الماضي، رغم التحديات التي يواجهها المصدّرون جراء القرارات الأحادية التي اتخذتها بعض الدول، وفقا لوكالات إعلامية غربية.
وأوضح «جويال» أن الحكومة تعمل على تنويع الصادرات الهندية والبحث عن أسواق جديدة، مشيرًا إلى أنها تدرس أيضًا اتخاذ إجراءات لدعم الطلب المحلي بما يساعد المصدّرين المتضررين من هذه الإجراءات، إلى جانب تعزيز قدراتهم التنافسية في الخارج.
وضاعفت الولايات المتحدة هذا الأسبوع الرسوم الجمركية المفروضة على السلع الهندية لتصل إلى 50%، في خطوة تؤثر بشكل مباشر على تنافسية المنتجات الهندية في السوق الأمريكية.

Indian Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal confirmed today (Friday) that his country is moving towards completing the second phase of the trade agreement with Australia soon, as part of efforts to enhance its presence in international markets.
He added that India's exports in 2025 will exceed last year's levels, despite the challenges faced by exporters due to unilateral decisions made by some countries, according to Western media reports.
Goyal explained that the government is working on diversifying Indian exports and seeking new markets, noting that it is also considering taking measures to support domestic demand to assist exporters affected by these measures, alongside enhancing their competitive capabilities abroad.
The United States doubled the tariffs imposed on Indian goods this week to reach 50%, in a move that directly affects the competitiveness of Indian products in the American market.
