A high-level delegation of senior American executives is preparing to visit China this week, coinciding with trade negotiations between Washington and Beijing taking place in Sweden.

Informed sources told a Western agency yesterday (Monday) that the CEO of FedEx, Rajesh Subramaniam, will lead the American delegation, joined by representatives from major companies such as Boeing.

The sources clarified that the U.S. government is not involved in organizing this visit, as the U.S.-China Business Council is responsible for its organization, having overseen similar visits in the past two years.

This visit comes at a time when Beijing and Washington are preparing for a potential summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping later this year.
