غدًا.. انتهاء مهلة الشركات لإيداع قوائمها المالية

The Ministry of Commerce has called on companies whose financial year ends on December 31, 2024, and have not submitted their financial statements, to take the initiative to file before the deadline tomorrow (Monday), in order to avoid financial penalties against them in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Law.

The ministry clarified that the process of filing financial statements includes all companies, according to the Companies Law, which states in Article (17) the following: "Companies must prepare financial statements at the end of each financial year in accordance with the accounting standards adopted in the Kingdom, and file them within (6) months from the end of the financial year."

The responsibility for filing the financial statements lies with the company's president, or the company's manager, or the chairman of the board of directors (depending on the company's structure), and if the company fails to fulfill its obligation, it will be penalized with a financial fine, in accordance with Article (262) of the Companies Law.
