توقعت شركة «إي إف جي هيرميس» ارتفاع متوسط سعر صرف الدولار أمام الجنيه المصري إلى 51.75 جنيه خلال العام المالي القادم، مقارنة بتقديراتها السابقة البالغة 49.9 جنيه للعام المالي الحالي.
وأشارت التقديرات إلى تحسن ملحوظ في أداء الاقتصاد المصري، حيث توقعت «هيرميس» نمو الناتج المحلي الإجمالي بنسبة 4.7% في العام المالي القادم، مقارنة بمعدل 3.7% متوقع للعام الحالي، ما يعكس تفاؤلًا بشأن وتيرة التعافي الاقتصادي.
كما رجحت «هيرميس» ارتفاع احتياطي النقد الأجنبي إلى 45.1 مليار دولار بنهاية العام المالي القادم، مقابل 44.8 مليار دولار في توقعاتها للعام الحالي، مما يشير إلى استقرار نسبي في الموارد الأجنبية للبلاد.
وفيما يتعلق بصافي الأصول الأجنبية للقطاع المصرفي، توقعت الشركة انخفاضه إلى 5.8 مليار دولار في العام المالي القادم، مقابل 7 مليارات دولار متوقعة للعام المالي الحالي، في إشارة إلى استمرار الضغوط على السيولة الدولارية في القطاع المصرفي.

EFG Hermes expects the average exchange rate of the dollar against the Egyptian pound to rise to 51.75 pounds during the upcoming fiscal year, compared to its previous estimate of 49.9 pounds for the current fiscal year.
The estimates indicate a noticeable improvement in the performance of the Egyptian economy, as Hermes forecasts GDP growth of 4.7% in the upcoming fiscal year, compared to an expected rate of 3.7% for the current year, reflecting optimism about the pace of economic recovery.
Hermes also anticipates an increase in foreign currency reserves to $45.1 billion by the end of the upcoming fiscal year, compared to $44.8 billion in its estimates for the current year, indicating relative stability in the country's foreign resources.
Regarding the net foreign assets of the banking sector, the company expects a decline to $5.8 billion in the upcoming fiscal year, compared to an expected $7 billion for the current fiscal year, signaling continued pressure on dollar liquidity in the banking sector.
