فتحت المؤشرات الرئيسية في بورصة وول ستريت على انخفاض اليوم، مع شعور المستثمرين العائدين من عطلة طويلة بالقلق إزاء مدى قانونية الرسوم الجمركية التي فرضها الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب وترقبهم تقارير اقتصادية مهمة.
وهبط المؤشر داو جونز الصناعي 257.1 نقطة بما يعادل 0.56 %، إلى 45,287.73 نقطة، وفتح المؤشر «ستاندرد آند بورز» 500 منخفضاً 58.7 نقطة أو 0.91 %،إلى 6,401.51 نقطة.
وتراجع المؤشر «ناسداك» المجمع 369 نقطة أو 1.72 % إلى 21,086.575 نقطة، وهبط سهم «إنفيديا» بأكثر من 3% في أول جلسة تداول في سبتمبر.
وكانت البورصات الأمريكية قد أغلقت أبوابها، أمس، في عطلة رسمية بمناسبة عيد العمال، على أن تستأنف تعاملاتها غداً بصورة طبيعية.
وفي نهاية تعاملات الأسبوع الماضي، تراجعت الأسهم الأمريكية مسجلة خسارة أسبوعية، لكنها حققت مكاسب شهرية خلال أغسطس الماضي.
ويتوجه تركيز المستثمرين هذا الأسبوع نحو تقرير الوظائف غير الزراعية في الولايات المتحدة عن أغسطس، الذي سيصدر الجمعة القادمة، وقد يؤثر بصورة كبيرة على قرار الاحتياطي الفيدرالي بشأن الفائدة في اجتماع الشهر الجاري.

The main indicators on Wall Street opened lower today, as investors returning from a long holiday felt concerned about the legality of the tariffs imposed by U.S. President Donald Trump and awaited important economic reports.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 257.1 points, or 0.56%, to 45,287.73 points, while the S&P 500 opened down 58.7 points, or 0.91%, to 6,401.51 points.
The Nasdaq Composite dropped 369 points, or 1.72%, to 21,086.575 points, and shares of Nvidia fell by more than 3% in the first trading session of September.
The U.S. exchanges had closed their doors yesterday for a public holiday in observance of Labor Day, and will resume trading normally tomorrow.
At the end of last week’s trading, U.S. stocks declined, recording a weekly loss, but they achieved monthly gains during August.
This week, investors are focusing on the U.S. non-farm payroll report for August, which will be released next Friday, and it could significantly influence the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision in this month's meeting.
