سجّلت عملة «بيتكوين» مستوى قياسياً جديداً غير مسبوق، بعدما تجاوزت حاجز 123 ألف دولار للمرة الأولى، في مؤشر على تزايد الثقة والاستثمار في أكبر عملة مشفّرة في العالم، وسط توقعات بتحقيق مكاسب تنظيمية طال انتظارها لهذا النوع من الأصول خلال هذا الأسبوع.
وبلغت بيتكوين أعلى مستوياتها على الإطلاق عند 123,153.22 دولار قبل أن تتراجع قليلاً وتسجل في أحدث تعاملات 122 ألف دولار، بزيادة 2.4%.
ويبدأ مجلس النواب الأمريكي في وقت لاحق مناقشة مجموعة من القوانين الهادفة إلى وضع إطار تنظيمي لصناعة الأصول الرقمية، وهو مطلب طال انتظاره من قبل المستثمرين.
ولاقت هذه المطالب دعماً من الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، الذي وصف نفسه بأنه «رئيس العملات المشفّرة»، داعياً صانعي السياسات إلى تحديث القواعد التنظيمية بما يخدم هذا القطاع.
وارتفعت بيتكوين بنسبة 30% منذ بداية العام، ما أدى إلى موجة انتعاش أوسع شملت العملات المشفّرة الأخرى، وذلك رغم حالة عدم الاستقرار التي أحدثتها الرسوم الجمركية التي فرضها ترمب أخيراً.
أما عملة إيثر، ثاني أكبر العملات المشفّرة من حيث القيمة السوقية، فقد قفزت إلى أعلى مستوى لها منذ أكثر من 5 أشهر عند 3,059.60 دولار، فيما ارتفعت إكس.آر.بي وسولانا بنحو 3%.
وبحسب بيانات موقع «كوين ماركت كاب» المتخصص في تتبع سوق العملات الرقمية، وصلت القيمة السوقية الإجمالية للقطاع إلى نحو 3.81 تريليون دولار.

Bitcoin reached its all-time high at $123,153.22 before slightly retreating to record $122,000 in the latest transactions, an increase of 2.4%.
The U.S. House of Representatives will later begin discussing a set of laws aimed at establishing a regulatory framework for the digital asset industry, a long-awaited demand from investors.
These demands have received support from U.S. President Donald Trump, who described himself as the "President of cryptocurrencies," calling on policymakers to update regulatory rules to benefit this sector.
