دعت مصلحة الجمارك الليبية جميع المسافرين القادمين والمغادرين عبر المنافذ البرية والبحرية والجوية إلى ضرورة الالتزام بالتعليمات التي تتضمن تحديد العملات المحلية والأجنبية والمتعلقات الشخصية عند الدخول إلى ليبيا أو الخروج منها.
وشددت الجمارك الليبية، في بيان نشرته على صفحتها بموقع «فيسبوك»، على ضرورة الإفصاح عن الأموال استنادًا إلى قرار اللجنة الوطنية لمكافحة غسل الأموال وتمويل الإرهاب لسنة 2018.
وأوضحت أن الحد المسموح به من النقد المحلي هو 200 دينار ليبي، ويُسمح للمسافرين بحمل ما يصل إلى 10 آلاف دولار، أو ما يعادلها من النقد الأجنبي. وفي حال تجاوز هذه الحدود، يجب تعبئة نموذج إقرار عملة وتسليمه للعضو الجمركي المختص.
مخالفة جمركية
وأكدت أن عدم الإفصاح يُعد مخالفة جمركية، لافتة إلى أن الأمتعة الشخصية للمسافرين معفية من الضرائب والرسوم بشرط أن تكون للاستعمال الشخصي وأن تتناسب مع الظروف الاجتماعية والدينية.
وشددت مصلحة الجمارك على أن هذه الإجراءات تهدف إلى الحفاظ على أمن الوطن وسلامة الاقتصاد الوطني، وتهيب بجميع المسافرين الالتزام بالتعليمات.
The Libyan Customs Authority has called on all travelers arriving and departing through land, sea, and air ports to adhere to the instructions regarding the declaration of local and foreign currencies and personal belongings when entering or exiting Libya.
The Libyan Customs emphasized, in a statement published on its Facebook page, the necessity of declaring funds based on the decision of the National Committee for Combating Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing of 2018.
It clarified that the allowed limit for local currency is 200 Libyan dinars, and travelers are permitted to carry up to 10,000 US dollars, or its equivalent in foreign currency. If these limits are exceeded, a currency declaration form must be filled out and submitted to the designated customs officer.
Customs Violation
It confirmed that failure to declare is considered a customs violation, noting that personal luggage of travelers is exempt from taxes and fees provided it is for personal use and is commensurate with social and religious circumstances.
The Customs Authority stressed that these measures aim to maintain the security of the nation and the safety of the national economy, urging all travelers to comply with the instructions.
