ينظّم مركز التحكيم التجاري لدول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية «الملتقى الخليجي الأمريكي للتحكيم» في كل من واشنطن العاصمة بتاريخ 30 مايو 2025، ونيويورك بتاريخ 2 يونيو 2025، بمشاركة نخبة من الخبراء والقادة وصنّاع القرار من دول الخليج والولايات المتحدة.
ويهدف الملتقى إلى تعزيز التعاون القانوني والتحكيمي بين دول مجلس التعاون والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، وفتح آفاق جديدة لتبادل الخبرات والتجارب؛ لتعزيز بيئة الاستثمار، وجذب رؤوس الأموال الأجنبية، من خلال تطوير منظومة التحكيم التجاري ومناقشة أثر التحكيم في الاتفاقيات الدولية، لتوفير الحماية القانونية للمستثمرين.
وأوضح الأمين العام لمركز التحكيم التجاري الخليجي الدكتور كمال آل حمد أن تنظيم الملتقى يأتي في إطار إستراتيجية المركز للتوسع الدولي، وتعزيز موقعه بوصفه مركزًا إقليميًا رائدًا في تقديم خدمات التحكيم، مشيرًا إلى أن الملتقى يُرسّخ العلاقات القانونية بين دول الخليج العربي والولايات المتحدة، ويفتح المجال لمزيد من الشراكات مع مؤسسات التحكيم الأمريكية، مما يدعم مناخ الاستثمار، ويعزز الثقة في البيئة القانونية والتجارية في المنطقة.
وسيتضمن برنامج الملتقى حلقات نقاش تتناول موضوعات مثل أثر التحكيم في نظام الاستثمار، ودور مراكز التحكيم في تعزيز بيئة الأعمال، إضافة إلى استعراض تطورات التشريعات التحكيمية في دول الخليج العربي.

The Commercial Arbitration Center for the Gulf Cooperation Council organizes the "Gulf-American Forum on Arbitration" in Washington, D.C. on May 30, 2025, and in New York on June 2, 2025, with the participation of a select group of experts, leaders, and decision-makers from the Gulf States and the United States.
The forum aims to enhance legal and arbitration cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the United States, and to open new horizons for exchanging experiences and practices; to strengthen the investment environment and attract foreign capital by developing the commercial arbitration system and discussing the impact of arbitration in international agreements to provide legal protection for investors.
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Commercial Arbitration Center, Dr. Kamal Al-Hamad, explained that the organization of the forum comes as part of the center's strategy for international expansion and to enhance its position as a leading regional center in providing arbitration services, noting that the forum solidifies legal relations between the Gulf Arab states and the United States, and opens the door for more partnerships with American arbitration institutions, thereby supporting the investment climate and enhancing confidence in the legal and commercial environment in the region.
The forum's program will include discussion sessions addressing topics such as the impact of arbitration on the investment system, the role of arbitration centers in enhancing the business environment, in addition to reviewing developments in arbitration legislation in the Gulf Arab states.
