بعد خسائر كبيرة خلال تعاملات الأسبوع الماضي، تشهد سوق الصرف في مصر حالة من الاستقرار والهدوء تزامناً مع العطلة الأسبوعية.
واستقر سعر صرف الدولار لدى البنك المركزي المصري عند مستوى 50.10 جنيه للشراء، و50.19 جنيه للبيع. وجاء أعلى سعر صرف للدولار مقابل الجنيه في مصرف أبوظبي الإسلامي عند مستوى 50.37 جنيه للشراء، و50.47 جنيه للبيع.
وبلغ سعر صرف الدولار مقابل الجنيه المصري في بنوك الأهلي المصري وبنك مصر والبنك التجاري الدولي - مصر، مستوى 50.11 جنيه للشراء، و50.21 جنيه للبيع.
وفي بنك القاهرة، بلغ سعر صرف الدولار نحو 50.16 جنيه للشراء، و50.26 جنيه للبيع. وسجل سعر الدولار مقابل الجنيه المصري في بنك قناة السويس مستوى 50.08 جنيه للشراء، و50.18 جنيه للبيع.
وكانت شركة «إي إف جي هيرميس» توقعت ارتفاع متوسط سعر صرف الدولار أمام الجنيه المصري إلى 51.75 جنيه خلال العام المالي القادم، مقارنة بتقديراتها السابقة البالغة 49.9 جنيه للعام المالي الحالي.
وأشارت التقديرات إلى تحسن ملحوظ في أداء الاقتصاد المصري، حيث توقعت «هيرميس» نمو الناتج المحلي الإجمالي بنسبة 4.7% في العام المالي القادم، مقارنة بمعدل 3.7% متوقع للعام الحالي، ما يعكس تفاؤلاً بشأن وتيرة التعافي الاقتصادي.
كما رجحت «هيرميس» ارتفاع احتياطي النقد الأجنبي إلى 45.1 مليار دولار بنهاية العام المالي القادم، مقابل 44.8 مليار دولار في توقعاتها للعام الحالي، ما يشير إلى استقرار نسبي في الموارد الأجنبية للبلاد.
وفي ما يتعلق بصافي الأصول الأجنبية للقطاع المصرفي، توقعت الشركة انخفاضه إلى 5.8 مليار دولار في العام المالي القادم، مقابل 7 مليارات دولار متوقعة للعام المالي الحالي، في إشارة إلى استمرار الضغوط على السيولة الدولارية في القطاع المصرفي.

After significant losses during last week's trading, the foreign exchange market in Egypt is experiencing a state of stability and calm coinciding with the weekend holiday.
The exchange rate of the dollar at the Central Bank of Egypt remained stable at 50.10 EGP for buying and 50.19 EGP for selling. The highest exchange rate for the dollar against the pound was at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, where it reached 50.37 EGP for buying and 50.47 EGP for selling.
The exchange rate of the dollar against the Egyptian pound in the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, and the Commercial International Bank - Egypt was 50.11 EGP for buying and 50.21 EGP for selling.
At Cairo Bank, the dollar exchange rate was about 50.16 EGP for buying and 50.26 EGP for selling. The dollar exchange rate against the Egyptian pound at Suez Canal Bank was 50.08 EGP for buying and 50.18 EGP for selling.
EFG Hermes had predicted that the average exchange rate of the dollar against the Egyptian pound would rise to 51.75 EGP during the upcoming fiscal year, compared to its previous estimate of 49.9 EGP for the current fiscal year.
The estimates indicated a noticeable improvement in the performance of the Egyptian economy, as Hermes expected GDP growth of 4.7% in the upcoming fiscal year, compared to a projected rate of 3.7% for the current year, reflecting optimism about the pace of economic recovery.
Hermes also anticipated an increase in foreign currency reserves to 45.1 billion USD by the end of the upcoming fiscal year, compared to 44.8 billion USD in its forecasts for the current year, indicating relative stability in the country's foreign resources.
Regarding the net foreign assets of the banking sector, the company expected it to decrease to 5.8 billion USD in the upcoming fiscal year, compared to 7 billion USD expected for the current fiscal year, indicating continued pressures on dollar liquidity in the banking sector.
