صافح الزميل الشاعر عبدالله عبيان (نائب رئيس التحرير) الوطن في يومه بقصيدة وطنية صاغها في لوحات متعددة، احتفاءً باليوم الوطني السعودي، مجسداً من خلالها وحدة الصف وتلاحم المجتمع، ومستحضراً ما تزخر به مناطق المملكة من تنوع ثقافي يجتمع تحت راية واحدة وهوية راسخة.
واختزل عبيان في أبياته مشاعر الاعتزاز بالوطن والوفاء لقيادته، مؤكداً أن أمن المملكة وحدودها مسؤولية يحملها السعوديون بعزيمة متوارثة، مستلهمين من تاريخهم معاني البطولة والتضحية:
«صفّنا واحد وراياتنا الخضر فوق المجرّة ترتفع
ودارنا في ظلال إخوان نورة نصون أمنها وحدودها
دونك أرواحنا والسيف الأجرب يا ويل المعادي لا طمع
يا وطن والمعارك دون حدك نسلطن على بارودها»
وتجمع لوحات العمل بين الشعر والصورة والموروث الثقافي، في معالجة وطنية تبرز قوة الانتماء السعودي، وتحتفي بتنوع الوطن بوصفه مصدر ثراء، ووحدته باعتبارها أساس قوته ومنعته.
وأكد عبيان اعتزازه بالمشاركة في هذه المناسبة، قائلاً: «تشرفت بكتابة لوحات هذا العمل في ذكرى اليوم الوطني السعودي»، ليقدم نصاً يستدعي رموز التاريخ وبطولات التأسيس، ويعبّر عن وطن يصون أبناؤه أمنه، وترتفع رايته الخضراء فوق كل اختلاف جغرافي وثقافي.
Colleague poet Abdullah Obayan (Deputy Editor-in-Chief) greeted the nation on its day with a patriotic poem crafted in multiple panels, celebrating the Saudi National Day, embodying the unity of ranks and the cohesion of society, and recalling the cultural diversity that the regions of the Kingdom boast, all united under one banner and a steadfast identity.
Obayan distilled in his verses feelings of pride in the homeland and loyalty to its leadership, affirming that the security of the Kingdom and its borders is a responsibility borne by Saudis with inherited determination, drawing inspiration from their history of heroism and sacrifice:
“Our ranks are one, and our green flags rise above the galaxy
And our home is in the shadows of the brothers of Noura, we safeguard its security and borders
Our souls are yours, and the gray sword, woe to the adversary, do not covet
O homeland, and the battles beyond your limits, we will dominate with its gunpowder”
The panels of the work combine poetry, imagery, and cultural heritage, in a national treatment that highlights the strength of Saudi belonging, celebrating the nation's diversity as a source of richness, and its unity as the foundation of its strength and resilience.
Obayan affirmed his pride in participating in this occasion, saying: “I am honored to have written the panels of this work in commemoration of the Saudi National Day,” presenting a text that evokes the symbols of history and the heroics of the foundation, expressing a homeland whose sons safeguard its security, and where its green flag rises above all geographical and cultural differences.
