قضت محكمة جنح مصر الجديدة في القاهرة بحبس راندا رياض، مديرة أعمال الفنانة المصرية أنغام، لمدة شهر، مع كفالة مالية قدرها 500 جنيه لوقف تنفيذ العقوبة، على خلفية إدانتها بالتسبب في إصابة شاب إثر حادث تصادم مروري وقع في منطقة مصر الجديدة شرقي العاصمة.
وصدر الحكم برئاسة المستشار محمد متولي، وبحضور وكيل النائب العام مازن البمبي، بعد أن وُجهت لراندا رياض تهمة التسبب في إصابة المجني عليه عن طريق الخطأ أثناء قيادتها سيارتها.
وتعود تفاصيل الواقعة إلى تلقي غرفة عمليات شرطة النجدة بالقاهرة بلاغاً يفيد بوقوع حادث تصادم بين سيارة ملاكي ودراجة نارية أمام مستشفى الطيران، وانتقلت الجهات المختصة إلى موقع الحادث لمعاينته واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة، وأظهرت التحقيقات الأولية أن الحادث أسفر عن إصابة شاب بكسر في القدم، بعدما اصطدمت به السيارة التي كانت تقودها راندا رياض، لتتولى نيابة مصر الجديدة التحقيق في الواقعة، قبل إحالتها إلى المحكمة بتهمة الإصابة الخطأ.
ويمنح الحكم الصادر المتهمة الحق في سداد قيمة الكفالة المالية لوقف تنفيذ العقوبة مؤقتاً، إلى جانب إمكانية التقدم بطعن أمام محكمة الجنح المستأنفة، أو اتخاذ الإجراءات المرتبطة بتنفيذ الحكم وفقاً لما يقرره القانون.
ولم تُعلن حتى الآن أي تفاصيل بشأن الخطوات القانونية التي ستتخذها راندا رياض عقب صدور الحكم.
وتأتي هذه القضية في وقت تواصل راندا رياض إدارة أعمال الفنانة أنغام، إذ تتولى منذ سنوات تنسيق عدد من جوانب نشاطها الفني، بما يشمل الحفلات والارتباطات المهنية.
The New Cairo Misdemeanor Court sentenced Randa Riyad, the manager of Egyptian artist Angham, to one month in prison, with a financial bail of 500 Egyptian pounds to suspend the execution of the sentence, following her conviction for causing injury to a young man as a result of a traffic collision that occurred in the New Cairo area east of the capital.
The ruling was issued under the presidency of Judge Mohamed Metwally, and in the presence of the public prosecutor's representative, Mazen Al-Bambi, after Randa Riyad was charged with causing injury to the victim by mistake while driving her car.
The details of the incident date back to the receipt of a report by the Cairo emergency police operations room indicating a collision between a private car and a motorcycle in front of the Aviation Hospital. The relevant authorities moved to the accident site to inspect it and take the necessary measures. Initial investigations revealed that the accident resulted in a young man sustaining a broken foot after being hit by the car driven by Randa Riyad. The New Cairo Prosecution took over the investigation of the incident before referring it to the court on charges of accidental injury.
The issued ruling grants the accused the right to pay the bail amount to temporarily suspend the execution of the sentence, in addition to the possibility of appealing before the Misdemeanor Appeals Court or taking actions related to the execution of the ruling as determined by law.
No details have yet been announced regarding the legal steps Randa Riyad will take following the issuance of the ruling.
