قبل دقائق من انطلاق حفلته المرتقبة على مسارح محمد عبده أرينا ضمن فعاليات موسم الرياض 2025، أطلّ فنان العرب محمد عبده على جمهوره بإطلالة تختزل تاريخ الفن العربي وروح الحاضر. وفي حديث قصير مع «عكاظ» عن نجاح أغنية «جت وأقبلت»، التي وقع ألحانها ابنه عبدالرحمن، لم يخض عبده في احتمالات التعاون الفني المستقبلي، مكتفياً بالإشادة بمسيرة ابنه الموسيقية: «عبدالرحمن درس 4 سنوات في الكونسرفتوار في باريس، وأصبح عازف بيانو ماهراً، وجاهزاً للمستقبل». كلمات قصيرة، لكنها حملت فخراً كبيراً بمستوى ابنه الموسيقي، مؤكداً للجمهور أنّ إرث الفن لا يقتصر على الأجيال، بل يُصقل ويُطوّر مع الزمن والخبرة، تاركاً المجال أمام المستقبل ليكتب فصوله الخاصة.
وصعد محمد عبده إلى مسرح محمد عبده أرينا وسط حضور جماهيري كثيف، مؤكداً في حديثه للجمهور: «أجمل ما يحدث لي دائماً… هو لقائي مع جمهور الرياض… هذا الجمهور الذي يكبر في قلبي كل سنة».
وافتتح الحفلة بأغنية «الرياض»، قبل أن يقدم مجموعة من أبرز أعماله مثل «أنشودة المطر»، «ذيك الليالي»، «جمرة غضى» و«ما عاد بدري»، في أمسية موسيقية استمرت أكثر من ساعتين وسط تفاعل كبير من الجمهور.
تميزت الحفلة بتنظيم عالي المستوى وجودة صوتية وإضاءة متطورة، ما يعكس التطور الكبير الذي يشهده موسم الرياض 2025. ويستعد محمد عبده لإحياء حفلة ثانية الجمعة القادمة وسط توقعات بحضور جماهيري كبير.
Just minutes before the start of his highly anticipated concert at the Mohammed Abdu Arena as part of the Riyadh Season 2025, the Artist of Arabia, Mohammed Abdu, appeared before his audience in a look that encapsulates the history of Arab art and the spirit of the present. In a brief conversation with "Okaz" about the success of the song "Jat wa Aqbalt," composed by his son Abdulrahman, Abdu did not delve into possibilities for future artistic collaborations, contenting himself with praising his son's musical journey: "Abdulrahman studied for 4 years at the conservatory in Paris and has become a skilled pianist, ready for the future." Short words, but they carried great pride in his son's musical level, affirming to the audience that the legacy of art is not limited to generations, but is refined and developed over time and experience, leaving room for the future to write its own chapters.
Mohammed Abdu took to the stage at the Mohammed Abdu Arena amidst a large audience, confirming in his address to the crowd: "The most beautiful thing that always happens to me... is my meeting with the audience of Riyadh... this audience that grows in my heart every year."
He opened the concert with the song "Riyadh," before presenting a selection of his most prominent works such as "Anshoudat Al-Matar," "Dhek Al-Layali," "Jamrat Ghada," and "Ma Ad Badri," in a musical evening that lasted over two hours with significant audience interaction.
The concert was distinguished by high-level organization, excellent sound quality, and advanced lighting, reflecting the significant development witnessed in Riyadh Season 2025. Mohammed Abdu is preparing to hold a second concert next Friday, with expectations of a large audience attendance.
