وقّع وزير الثقافة الأمير بدر بن عبدالله بن فرحان، ووزيرة الثقافات والفنون والمعارف التقليدية في جمهورية كولومبيا ياناي كاداماني، مذكرةَ تفاهمٍ بين وزارة الثقافة في المملكة، ووزارة الثقافات والفنون والمعارف التقليدية في كولومبيا؛ للتعاون في المجال الثقافي بين البلدين الصديقين، وذلك على هامش زيارة رئيس جمهورية كولومبيا للمملكة لحضور الدورة التاسعة من المنتدى العالمي «مبادرة مستقبل الاستثمار» في الرياض.
واشتملت المذكرة على عدة مجالاتٍ للتعاون بين الطرفين، من أبرزها تعزيز التعاون والتبادل الثقافي بينهما في المجالات الثقافية، إلى جانب تبادل الخبرات بشأن الأنظمة والتنظيمات والسياسات المعنية بالمجال الثقافي، والتعاون المشترك في برامج الإقامات الثقافية بين المؤسسات الحكومية، والأهلية، وغير الربحية، وتبادل المشاركات في المهرجانات والفعاليات الثقافية بينهما، فضلًا عن تسهيل عملية التواصل بين الجهات الثقافية والمثقفين في البلدين الصديقين.
وتضمّنت المذكرة الوسائل التي تُسهم في تنفيذ مجالات التعاون بين الطرفين، وذلك من خلال تبادل الزيارات بين الوفود الرسمية والخبراء من المختصين في مختلف المجالات الثقافية، وإقامة البرامج التدريبية، وجلسات العمل، وتطوير القدرات، وعقد الندوات للمختصين، والمثقفين، والفنانين من كلا الطرفين.
وكانت مراسم توقيع المذكرة قد جرت خلال لقاء وزير الثقافة بنظيرته الكولومبية، الذي بحثا من خلاله فرص التعاون بين المملكة وكولومبيا في مختلف المجالات الثقافية، من أبرزها الفنون البصرية، والموسيقى، والمتاحف، والمسرح، والفنون الأدائية، ونشر المعرفة الثقافية بين البلدين، والتطلع إلى ترسيخ التعاون بينهما، وتعزيز الشراكات في مجال الإعارات طويلة المدى، وتطوير التعاون في بناء القدرات في مجال الثقافة والفنون.
The Minister of Culture, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, and the Minister of Cultures, Arts, and Traditional Knowledge of the Republic of Colombia, Yanai Kadamani, signed a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Culture of the Kingdom and the Ministry of Cultures, Arts, and Traditional Knowledge of Colombia; to cooperate in the cultural field between the two friendly countries, during the visit of the President of the Republic of Colombia to the Kingdom to attend the ninth session of the Global Forum "Future Investment Initiative" in Riyadh.
The memorandum included several areas of cooperation between the two parties, the most prominent of which are enhancing cooperation and cultural exchange between them in cultural fields, in addition to exchanging experiences regarding systems, regulations, and policies related to the cultural field, and joint cooperation in cultural residency programs between government, private, and non-profit institutions, as well as exchanging participation in festivals and cultural events between them, in addition to facilitating communication between cultural entities and intellectuals in the two friendly countries.
The memorandum included means that contribute to the implementation of areas of cooperation between the two parties, through the exchange of visits between official delegations and experts from various cultural fields, conducting training programs, work sessions, capacity development, and holding seminars for specialists, intellectuals, and artists from both sides.
The signing ceremony of the memorandum took place during a meeting between the Minister of Culture and her Colombian counterpart, during which they discussed opportunities for cooperation between the Kingdom and Colombia in various cultural fields, the most prominent of which are visual arts, music, museums, theater, performing arts, and promoting cultural knowledge between the two countries, looking forward to consolidating cooperation between them, and enhancing partnerships in the field of long-term exchanges, and developing cooperation in capacity building in the field of culture and arts.
