محمد هنيدي يعود إلى السينما.. بـ«الإسترليني»

After a years-long absence from theaters, artist Mohamed Henedy returns to the cinematic scene with his new film "The Sterling," for which he has begun preparations to shoot after the Eid season, in collaboration with director Hussein Al-Munbawi and writer Omar Taher. This film marks Henedy's first experience since his last release "Marai Al-Primmo," and it establishes a new phase in his career that combines smart comedy with social critique.
Henedy explained, through a post on his official account, that "The Sterling" is being developed as part of a massive production plan, which includes multiple filming locations in Cairo and some coastal cities. Director Al-Munbawi confirmed that the script addresses the economic and social transformations in Egyptian society in a satirical manner, through the story of a simple man who suddenly finds himself facing the world of finance and shady deals, transforming from an ordinary character into the center of intertwined events that blend comedy with suspense.
Filming is expected to begin in the coming weeks after finalizing contracts with the rest of the cast, while production sources have suggested that the film will be released in cinemas during the end-of-year season, as part of the list of the most anticipated blockbuster works.
