توفي الإعلامي المصري عاطف كامل إثر أزمة قلبية مفاجئة، وذلك بعد صدور حكم قضائي بسجنه لمدة عشر سنوات في قضية نفقة رفعتها عليه طليقته. الراحل كان من أبرز الوجوه الإعلامية في مصر، حيث قدم العديد من البرامج الشهيرة مثل «صباح الخير يا مصر»، «مشهد وجايزة»، «بيتنا الكبير»، و«لو بطلنا نحلم».
وقد نعت الإعلامية عواطف أبو السعود الراحل عبر حسابها على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، قائلة: «خبر حزين جدا.. انتقل إلى رحمة الله الزميل والإعلامي الكبير عاطف كامل. ربنا يرحمه ويغفر له، وخالص التعازي لأسرته ومحبيه».
تُوفي عاطف كامل عن عمر يناهز 62 عامًا، تاركًا وراءه إرثًا إعلاميًا كبيرًا وأثرًا واضحًا في مجال الإعلام المصري.
