مع نسمات الربيع المعتدلة وبداية تدفق العائلات إلى ضفاف نهر بردى، تشهد منطقة الربوة بدمشق تحولاً لافتاً يتجاوز صورتها التقليدية كمكان للتنزه والمطاعم، إذ باتت الفنون والمبادرات المجتمعية تزاحم المشهد الطبيعي الخلاب، بفضل فضاءات ثقافية معاصرة أضفت روحاً جديدة على المنطقة.
«منزول».. حيث تجتمع الأفكار تحت سقف واحد
على طريق الربوة، يبرز فضاء «منزول» كبيت ضيافة معاصر للأفكار والمشاريع. هذا المكان الذي افتتحه فريق نسائي مطلع العام الحالي، لم يستلهم اسمه من فراغ؛ فـ«المنزول» في الثقافة السورية (خصوصاً في القلمون) هو المساحة التي تستقبل الغرباء والأصدقاء لتبادل الأخبار، وهو ما يفعله الفضاء اليوم ولكن بلغة الفن والتدريب.
ومنذ افتتاحه، تحول «منزول» إلى مغناطيس للمهتمين بالثقافة، إذ استضاف ورشاً فنية: كان آخرها ورشة «الطباعة بالختم»، وسينما وموسيقى: عرض فيلم «عائشة لا تستطيع الطيران»، ويستعد لاستقبال حفل غنائي للفنانة سارة فرح، ودعم المشاريع: بازارات دورية لدعم الحرف اليدوية وجمع التبرعات، مما يجعله فضاءً اجتماعياً متكاملاً.
«الربوة».. الرئة الخضراء لدمشق
تقع الربوة في شمال غرب العاصمة، وتُعد الرئة التي تتنفس منها دمشق بفضل مروجها الخضراء وبساتينها التي يرويها نهر بردى. ومع دخول الفعاليات الثقافية إلى هذا الحيز الجغرافي، لم تعد الزيارة تقتصر على «السيران» الدمشقي التقليدي، بل أصبحت فرصة لحضور معرض تشكيلي أو المشاركة في إنتاج محتوى صوتي وبصري داخل قاعات «منزول» المجهزة.
بين «نار وطين» الحرف القديمة، وبين صالات العرض الحديثة في «منزول»، تثبت الربوة أنها قادرة على الجمع بين عراقة المكان وحداثة الفكر، لتبقى الوجهة المفضلة لدمشق في كل الفصول.
With the mild spring breezes and the beginning of families flowing to the banks of the Barada River, the Al-Rabwa area in Damascus is witnessing a remarkable transformation that goes beyond its traditional image as a place for picnics and restaurants. Thanks to contemporary cultural spaces, art and community initiatives are now competing with the breathtaking natural scenery, infusing the area with a new spirit.
“Manzool”.. Where Ideas Come Together Under One Roof
On the road to Al-Rabwa, the “Manzool” space stands out as a contemporary guesthouse for ideas and projects. This place, opened by a women's team at the beginning of this year, did not derive its name from nowhere; “manzool” in Syrian culture (especially in Qalamoun) refers to the space that welcomes strangers and friends to exchange news, which is exactly what the space does today, but in the language of art and training.
Since its opening, “Manzool” has become a magnet for culture enthusiasts, hosting artistic workshops: the latest being a “Stamp Printing” workshop, as well as cinema and music: screening the film “Aisha Cannot Fly,” and it is preparing to host a concert for artist Sara Farah, along with supporting projects: regular bazaars to support handicrafts and fundraising, making it a comprehensive social space.
“Al-Rabwa”.. The Green Lung of Damascus
Al-Rabwa is located in the northwest of the capital and is considered the lung from which Damascus breathes, thanks to its green meadows and orchards nourished by the Barada River. With the introduction of cultural activities into this geographical area, visits are no longer limited to the traditional Damascene “siyaran,” but have become an opportunity to attend an art exhibition or participate in producing audio and visual content within the equipped halls of “Manzool.”
Between the “fire and mud” of ancient crafts and the modern exhibition halls in “Manzool,” Al-Rabwa proves that it can combine the heritage of the place with modern thought, remaining the preferred destination for Damascus in all seasons.
