فجّر نقيب المهن التمثيلية الفنان أشرف زكي مفاجأةً حول رئاسته لمهرجان النقابة للمسرح، معلناً أن الدورة الحالية من المهرجان ستكون الأخيرة له في إدارة المهرجان، مؤكداً رغبته في إتاحة الفرصة أمام وجوهٍ جديدةٍ لتولي المسؤولية، واستكمال العمل على تطوير المهرجان خلال السنوات القادمة.
عجزت بدري
وقال أشرف زكي على هامش المؤتمر الخاص بالمهرجان: «قررت عدم الاستمرار في إدارة الدورات القادمة»، موضحاً: «دي آخر دورة ليا، ييجي حد تاني يشتغل، أنا عجزت بدري».
غياب التوثيق
وأشار نقيب المهن التمثيلية إلى أن غياب التوثيق عن المهرجان يمثل أحد التحديات التي تواجه تجربته، وهو ما دفعه إلى التفكير في إنهاء مهمته بعد الدورة الحالية، وإفساح المجال أمام شخصٍ آخرَ لاستكمال العمل على تطوير المهرجان، مع الاهتمام بتوثيق فعالياته وتجربته الفنية.
وأعلن أشرف زكي في وقتٍ سابقٍ أن الدورة الحالية ستشهد مشاركةً واسعةً من المسرحيين، إذ تضم 60 عرضاً مسرحياً، بمشاركة نحو 1500 فنانٍ وصانعٍ، في إطار دعم الحركة المسرحية وإتاحة الفرصة أمام أصحاب المواهب لتقديم تجاربهم على خشبة المسرح.
مهرجان المسرح المصري
يُعد مهرجان نقابة المهن التمثيلية للمسرح المصري إحدى الفعاليات التي تستهدف دعم الحركة المسرحية، وإتاحة مساحةً أمام الفنانين وصنّاع العروض لتقديم أعمالهم، إلى جانب تشجيع المواهب الجديدة على خوض التجارب المسرحية والمشاركة في الأنشطة الفنية.
ويأتي إعلان أشرف زكي اعتزامه ترك إدارة المهرجان بعد الدورة الحالية في وقتٍ يطرح فيه ملف تطوير المسرح وتوثيق تجاربه تحدياتٍ تتعلق بالحفاظ على نتاج العروض المشاركة، وإتاحة الفرصة أمام الأجيال الجديدة لمواصلة العمل.
The head of the Actors' Syndicate, artist Ashraf Zaki, revealed a surprise regarding his presidency of the Syndicate's theater festival, announcing that the current edition of the festival will be his last in managing it, confirming his desire to give the opportunity to new faces to take on the responsibility and continue working on developing the festival in the coming years.
I've Grown Tired Early
Ashraf Zaki said on the sidelines of the festival's conference: "I have decided not to continue managing the upcoming editions," explaining: "This is my last edition; someone else should take over. I've grown tired early."
Lack of Documentation
The head of the Actors' Syndicate pointed out that the lack of documentation for the festival represents one of the challenges facing his experience, which prompted him to consider ending his mission after the current edition and making way for someone else to continue working on developing the festival, while paying attention to documenting its activities and artistic experience.
Ashraf Zaki previously announced that the current edition will witness wide participation from theater practitioners, as it includes 60 theatrical performances, with the participation of about 1,500 artists and creators, as part of supporting the theatrical movement and providing an opportunity for talented individuals to present their experiences on stage.
Egyptian Theater Festival
The Syndicate of Actors' Egyptian Theater Festival is considered one of the events aimed at supporting the theatrical movement and providing a space for artists and show creators to present their works, in addition to encouraging new talents to engage in theatrical experiences and participate in artistic activities.
The announcement by Ashraf Zaki of his intention to leave the management of the festival after the current edition comes at a time when the file of developing theater and documenting its experiences poses challenges related to preserving the outcomes of the participating performances and providing opportunities for new generations to continue working.
