يستعد الفنان العراقي كاظم الساهر لتقديم إحدى روائع الشاعر المصري الراحل مرسي جميل عزيز، في تعاون غنائي جديد اكتملت مراحل تسجيله داخل استوديوهات القاهرة، بحضور مجدي مرسي جميل عزيز، نجل الشاعر، وعدد من الموسيقيين.
بداية التعاون
وجاء المشروع بعد أن أبدت أسرة مرسي جميل عزيز رغبتها في أن يقدم الساهر القصيدة، وهو ما رحب به القيصر، معتبراً التجربة تقديراً لقيمة الشاعر ومسؤولية فنية في الوقت نفسه.
رؤية موسيقية جديدة
وتولى كاظم الساهر تلحين القصيدة، واضعاً لها معالجة موسيقية معاصرة، مؤكداً حرصه في بيان صحفي على تقديم النصوص المميزة مهما مر على كتابتها من سنوات، طالما تمتلك روحاً قادرة على الوصول إلى الجمهور.
ويحرص الساهر، وفق رؤيته الفنية، على عدم حصر اختياراته في النصوص الحديثة، إذ يرى أن العمل الجيد قادر على الوصول إلى الجمهور مهما كان تاريخ كتابته، طالما يمتلك روحاً فنية قابلة للتجدد.
ومن هذا المنطلق، اختار تقديم قصيدة مرسي جميل عزيز، مشيداً بهذه التجربة، التي يرى أنها تنتمي إلى الأعمال الغنائية ذات القيمة، وتستحق أن تصل إلى جمهور جديد بصوت ورؤية موسيقية معاصرة.

Iraqi artist Kazem El Saher is preparing to present one of the masterpieces of the late Egyptian poet Morsi Jamil Aziz, in a new musical collaboration that has completed its recording stages inside the studios of Cairo, in the presence of Magdy Morsi Jamil Aziz, the poet's son, and a number of musicians.
Beginning of the Collaboration
The project came after the family of Morsi Jamil Aziz expressed their desire for El Saher to present the poem, which the artist welcomed, considering the experience a tribute to the value of the poet and an artistic responsibility at the same time.
A New Musical Vision
Kazem El Saher took on the task of composing the poem, providing it with a contemporary musical treatment, emphasizing in a press statement his commitment to presenting distinctive texts regardless of how many years have passed since they were written, as long as they possess a spirit capable of reaching the audience.
El Saher, according to his artistic vision, is keen not to limit his choices to modern texts, as he believes that a good work can reach the audience regardless of its writing date, as long as it has an artistic spirit that can be renewed.
From this standpoint, he chose to present the poem of Morsi Jamil Aziz, praising this experience, which he sees as belonging to valuable musical works that deserve to reach a new audience with a contemporary voice and musical vision.
