كشفت وزارة الصحة في بيان لها، أنه إشارةً إلى ما تم تداوله عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي بشأن قيام ممارس صحي وافد (طبيب أطفال) بتصوير مستفيدين أثناء تقديم الرعاية الصحية ونشر صور تمس خصوصيتهم، إلى جانب عبارات تنتقص من الكوادر الطبية السعودية؛ أكدت وزارة الصحة مباشرتها للواقعة فورًا واستدعاء الممارس للتحقيق، في إطار دورها الرقابي في حماية حقوق المستفيدين وخصوصيتهم، وضمان الالتزام بالأنظمة واللوائح الصحية وأخلاقيات المهنة المعتمدة في المملكة.
إجراءات نظامية
وأوضحت الوزارة أنها تتخذ الإجراءات النظامية اللازمة حيال المنشأة الصحية التي يعمل بها الممارس، إلى جانب إحالة الممارس إلى الجهات ذات العلاقة لاستكمال الإجراءات وفق الاختصاص، مؤكدةً أن أي انتهاك لخصوصية المستفيدين أو مساس بكرامتهم أو مخالفة للأنظمة الصحية وأخلاقيات المهنة ستُتخذ بشأنه الإجراءات النظامية المقررة.
مواصلة جهود الرقابة
وأكدت وزارة الصحة مواصلة جهودها الرقابية على المنشآت والممارسين الصحيين، والتحقق من الالتزام بالأنظمة واللوائح الصحية، داعيةً أفراد المجتمع إلى الإبلاغ عن أي ممارسات مخالفة عبر مركز الاتصال الموحد 937، بما يسهم في حماية حقوق المستفيدين وتعزيز سلامة وجودة الخدمات الصحية.
The Ministry of Health revealed in a statement that, in reference to what has been circulated on social media regarding a foreign healthcare practitioner (pediatrician) photographing beneficiaries while providing healthcare and publishing images that violate their privacy, along with statements that undermine Saudi medical staff; the Ministry of Health confirmed that it immediately addressed the incident and summoned the practitioner for investigation, as part of its supervisory role in protecting the rights and privacy of beneficiaries, and ensuring compliance with the health regulations and professional ethics established in the Kingdom.
Regulatory Procedures
The ministry clarified that it is taking the necessary regulatory actions regarding the healthcare facility where the practitioner works, in addition to referring the practitioner to the relevant authorities to complete the procedures according to their jurisdiction, emphasizing that any violation of beneficiaries' privacy or infringement on their dignity or violation of health regulations and professional ethics will result in the prescribed regulatory actions.
Continuing Oversight Efforts
The Ministry of Health affirmed its continued oversight efforts on healthcare facilities and practitioners, and verifying compliance with health regulations and guidelines, urging community members to report any violations through the unified contact center 937, which contributes to protecting beneficiaries' rights and enhancing the safety and quality of healthcare services.
