أكدت الممثلة شيماء الفضل، في حديث خاص لـ«عكاظ»، أن تجربتها في العمل الإعلامي بعد الدراسة شكّلت البوابة الرئيسية التي مهّدت لها الطريق نحو التمثيل، وأسهمت في بناء علاقتها المبكرة مع الكاميرا والجمهور، قبل انتقالها إلى خوض تجربتها الفنية.
وأوضحت الفضل، أن العمل الإعلامي منحها خبرة مهمة في التعامل مع الكاميرا، إلى جانب القدرة على قراءة انطباعات الجمهور وفهم طبيعة حضوره وتفاعله، وهي خبرات انعكست على تجربتها لاحقاً كممثلة، خصوصاً أن الوقوف أمام الكاميرا يتطلب قدراً من الوعي بطريقة التعبير وإيصال الإحساس.
العينان.. لغة السينما
وتوقفت الفضل عند تجربتها مع السينما، معتبرة أنها تمتلك خصوصية مختلفة عن بقية الوسائط الفنية، لاسيما في طبيعة أداء الممثل وطريقة التعبير عن الشخصية، إذ تعتمد بصورة أكبر على التفاصيل الدقيقة بعيداً عن التكلف في الأداء.
وقالت: «في السينما أنت غير مطالب بالشيء الكثير، أنت تعبر فقط بعينك»، في إشارة إلى أهمية التعبير الصادق والبسيط، وقدرة الكاميرا السينمائية على التقاط المشاعر والتفاصيل التي يقدمها الممثل من خلال نظراته وتفاعله مع المشهد. وترى الفضل، أن اختلاف الوسائط الفنية يفرض على الممثل التعامل مع كل تجربة وفق طبيعتها ومتطلباتها، فيما تمنح السينما مساحة خاصة للتعبير الداخلي، بحيث تصبح التفاصيل الصغيرة جزءاً رئيسياً من بناء الأداء وإيصال الشخصية إلى المشاهد.
أدوار أكبر وطموح عالمي
وعن تطلعاتها للمرحلة القادمة، أعربت الفضل عن أملها في تقديم أعمال تمنحها مساحة أكبر وأدواراً محورية، بما يتيح لها خوض تجارب فنية أوسع.
وأشارت إلى التطور الكبير الذي يشهده الفن السعودي بدعم صناع الدراما والإنتاج، مؤكدة أن هذا الحراك أثمر عن حضور متنامٍ للكوادر السعودية ومشاركتها في أعمال عربية ودولية بارزة تُصوّر في الرياض، وبأيادٍ سعودية قادرة على المنافسة، بما يفتح أمام الفنان السعودي مساحات أرحب للحضور والوصول إلى نطاق عالمي.
The actress Shaimaa Al-Fadl confirmed in a special interview with "Okaz" that her experience in media work after her studies was the main gateway that paved her way towards acting, contributing to building her early relationship with the camera and the audience before she ventured into her artistic experience.
Al-Fadl explained that her media work provided her with important experience in dealing with the camera, as well as the ability to read the audience's impressions and understand the nature of their presence and interaction. These experiences later reflected on her journey as an actress, especially since standing in front of the camera requires a degree of awareness in the way of expression and conveying feelings.
The Eyes.. The Language of Cinema
Al-Fadl paused to reflect on her experience with cinema, considering it to have a unique quality different from other artistic mediums, particularly in the nature of the actor's performance and the way of expressing the character. It relies more on subtle details, away from the artificiality of performance.
She said, "In cinema, you are not required to do much; you only express with your eyes," referring to the importance of honest and simple expression, and the cinematic camera's ability to capture the emotions and details that the actor presents through their gaze and interaction with the scene. Al-Fadl believes that the differences among artistic mediums require the actor to approach each experience according to its nature and requirements, while cinema provides a special space for internal expression, making small details a crucial part of building the performance and conveying the character to the audience.
Larger Roles and Global Ambitions
Regarding her aspirations for the upcoming phase, Al-Fadl expressed her hope to present works that grant her greater space and pivotal roles, allowing her to engage in broader artistic experiences.
She pointed to the significant development that Saudi art is witnessing, supported by drama and production creators, affirming that this movement has resulted in a growing presence of Saudi talents participating in prominent Arab and international works filmed in Riyadh, with Saudi hands capable of competing, thus opening wider spaces for Saudi artists to be present and reach a global scope.
