وفي تصريح خاص لـ«عكاظ»، كشفت زوجة هاني مهنا تطورات حالته الصحية، مؤكدة أن حالته شهدت تحسناً ملحوظاً خلال الساعات الأخيرة، موضحة أنه غادر غرفة العناية المركزة وانتقل إلى غرفة عادية تمهيداً لمغادرة المستشفى خلال الفترة القادمة.
وطالبت أسرة الموسيقار جمهوره ومحبيه بالدعاء له بالتزامن مع استكمال فترة التعافي والمتابعة الطبية بعد تجاوز المرحلة الأكثر صعوبة من الوعكة الصحية.

وبدأت الأزمة بشكل مفاجئ بعدما شعر هاني مهنا بضيق شديد في التنفس، قبل أن تكشف الفحوصات الطبية وجود تجمع للمياه على الرئة، الأمر الذي استدعى نقله سريعاً إلى المستشفى لتلقي الرعاية المناسبة والخضوع للفحوصات اللازمة.
اعتذار بعد أزمة التصريحات
من جانب آخر، كان هاني مهنا قد قدم أخيراً اعتذاراً عن تصريحات بشأن الفنانتين الراحلتين فاتن حمامة وشادية أثارت جدلاً واسعاً، وأعقبها قرار المجلس الأعلى لتنظيم الإعلام بإحالته إلى مجلس النقابات ومنعه من الظهور الإعلامي.
وأوضح مهنا في بيان صحفي أن تصريحاته لم تكن بقصد الإساءة إلى الفنانتين، مقدماً اعتذاره إلى أسرتيهما ومحبيهما، ومؤكداً تقديره لتاريخهما ومكانتهما الفنية.

On another note, Hani Mahna recently issued an apology regarding statements he made about the late artists Faten Hamama and Shadia, which sparked widespread controversy. This was followed by a decision from the Supreme Council for Media Regulation to refer him to the Syndicate Council and ban him from media appearances.
