يجتمع الفنانان محمد هنيدي ومنى زكي، مجدّداً على شاشة السينما عبر فيلم «الجواهرجي»، المقرر طرحه في دور العرض العربية 5 أغسطس القادم، في أول تعاون سينمائي بينهما منذ نحو 28 عاماً، بعد النجاح الذي حققاه في فيلم «صعيدي في الجامعة الأمريكية».
ويرى الناقد الفني أحمد سعد الدين، في تصريح خاص لـ«عكاظ»، أن الفيلم مرشح لتحقيق نجاح متوسط، موضحاً أن الثنائي يمتلك رصيداً جماهيرياً كبيراً لدى جيل التسعينات وبداية الألفية، في حين أصبحت شريحة الشباب اليوم هي القوة الرئيسية المحركة لإيرادات شباك التذاكر.
وأشار إلى أن محمد هنيدي، لم يشهد تطوراً كبيراً في طبيعة اختياراته الفنية أو أدواته خلال السنوات الأخيرة، وهو ما قد يجعل المنافسة أكثر صعوبة في ظل تغيّر ذائقة الجمهور واتجاهات السوق السينمائية.
وأضاف أن تأجيل عرض الفيلم لأكثر من ثلاث سنوات يمثل تحدياً إضافياً، إذ قد يؤثر في مستوى الترقب الذي صاحب العمل عند الإعلان عنه لأول مرة، لافتاً إلى أن سوق السينما يشهد تغيّرات متسارعة تتطلب مواكبة مستمرة.
وأكد سعد الدين، أن «الجواهرجي» سيواجه منافسة قوية من أعمال نجوم الجيل الحالي، معتبراً أن عودة هنيدي ومنى زكي تمثل قيمة فنية وإضافة للساحة السينمائية، إلا أن استعادة المكانة التي حققاها في صدارة شباك التذاكر قبل سنوات ستظل مرتبطة بمدى تفاعل الجمهور مع العمل بعد عرضه.

Art critic Ahmed Saad El-Din stated in a special comment to "Okaz" that the film is likely to achieve moderate success, explaining that the duo has a significant fan base among the generation of the 1990s and the early 2000s, while the youth segment today has become the main driving force behind box office revenues.
He pointed out that Mohamed Henedy has not witnessed significant development in the nature of his artistic choices or tools in recent years, which may make competition more challenging given the changing tastes of the audience and the trends in the film market.
He added that the postponement of the film's release for more than three years represents an additional challenge, as it may affect the level of anticipation that accompanied the project when it was first announced, noting that the cinema market is experiencing rapid changes that require continuous adaptation.
Saad El-Din confirmed that "The Jeweler" will face strong competition from the works of current generation stars, considering that the return of Henedy and Mona Zaki represents an artistic value and an addition to the cinematic scene. However, regaining the status they achieved at the top of the box office years ago will remain linked to the audience's interaction with the work after its release.
