أكدت الفنانة المصرية مي عمر أن فيلم «شمشون ودليلة» يعد تجربة مختلفة بالنسبة لها لأنه يجمع بين الأكشن والكوميديا في إطار خفيف، وهو ما جذبها للمشاركة فيه، معربة عن أمنيتها أن يحظى العمل بإعجاب الجمهور بعد المجهود الذي بذله فريق الفيلم.
تفاصيل دورها وتدريبات الأكشن
وأوضحت في تصريح إلى «عكاظ» أنها تقدم خلال الأحداث شخصية «دليلة»، وهي فتاة تمارس عمليات النصب وتخوض العديد من مشاهد الأكشن إلى جانب أحمد العوضي، مشيرة إلى أن الشخصية تحمل مفاجآت ستظهر مع تطور الأحداث.
وأضافت أن خبرتها السابقة في تدريبات الأكشن التي استمرت نحو عامين استعداداً لعمل آخر ساعدتها على تنفيذ مشاهد الحركة بسهولة، مؤكدة أنها أصبحت أكثر اعتياداً على هذا النوع من الأدوار.
إصابة في الكواليس
وكشفت مي عمر أنها تعرضت لإصابة بسيطة أثناء التصوير بعد تعثرها خلال أحد مشاهد الأكشن ما تسبب في التواء قدمها، لكنها اطمأنت بعد الفحص الطبي واستكملت تصوير مشاهدها رغم شعورها بالألم.
وعن تعاونها مع أحمد العوضي، قالت إنها استمتعت بالعمل معه، واصفة إياه بأنه فنان ملتزم ومتعاون، معربة عن أملها في أن تنال الثنائية التي تجمعهما في الفيلم إعجاب الجمهور.
موقفها من المنافسة وموسم رمضان 2027
وفيما يتعلق بمنافسة أفلام الموسم، شددت مي عمر على أن المنافسة الفنية يجب أن تقوم على الدعم المتبادل بين الجميع، مؤكدة أن تهنئتها لصناع فيلم «خلي بالك من نفسك»، بطولة ياسمين عبدالعزيز وأحمد السقا، جاءت من منطلق الزمالة، لأن نجاح أي عمل يصب في مصلحة السينما.
وأشارت في ختام حديثها إلى أنها تعاقدت على بطولة مسلسل جديد تخوض به منافسات موسم رمضان 2027، على أن يتم الإعلان عن تفاصيله في وقت لاحق.

She explained in a statement to "Okaz" that she portrays the character "Delilah," a girl who engages in scams and goes through many action scenes alongside Ahmed El Awadi, noting that the character has surprises that will unfold as the events progress.
She added that her previous experience in action training, which lasted about two years in preparation for another project, helped her execute the action scenes easily, confirming that she has become more accustomed to this type of roles.
An Injury Behind the Scenes
Mai Omar revealed that she suffered a minor injury during filming after tripping during one of the action scenes, which caused her ankle to twist. However, she felt reassured after a medical examination and continued filming her scenes despite feeling pain.
Regarding her collaboration with Ahmed El Awadi, she said she enjoyed working with him, describing him as a committed and cooperative artist, expressing her hope that the duo they form in the film will please the audience.
Her Stance on Competition and the Ramadan 2027 Season
Concerning the competition among films this season, Mai Omar emphasized that artistic competition should be based on mutual support among everyone, confirming that her congratulations to the makers of the film "Watch Out for Yourself," starring Yasmine Abdel Aziz and Ahmed El Sakka, came from a place of camaraderie, as the success of any work benefits cinema as a whole.
She concluded her remarks by stating that she has signed on to star in a new series that she will compete with in the Ramadan 2027 season, with details to be announced later.
