لم يكن عبدالله القرني مجرد اسم مرّ في الساحة الفنية السعودية، بل كان واحداً من الفنانين الذين صنعوا حضورهم بالموهبة والعمل المتواصل، بعيداً عن الضجيج الإعلامي. وبرحيله، أمس الأول (الإثنين)، تُطوى صفحة فنان عرفه الجمهور مطرباً، فيما عرفه زملاؤه، لاحقاً، ملحناً وموسيقياً كرّس سنواته الأخيرة لصناعة الأغنية من خلف الكواليس.
بدأت حكاية عبدالله القرني مع الفن من بوابة الغناء، لكن نقطة التحول الأبرز في مسيرته جاءت عام 2007، عندما تُوّج بلقب النسخة الثالثة من برنامج «نجوم الخليج»، وهو الإنجاز الذي فتح أمامه أبواب الشهرة، ومنحه فرصة الوصول إلى جمهور واسع في الخليج والوطن العربي.
ومع مرور السنوات، اتخذ مساراً مختلفاً عن كثير من أبناء جيله، إذ فضّل الابتعاد تدريجياً عن الأضواء والاتجاه نحو التلحين وصناعة الموسيقى. وهناك وجد المساحة التي تعبّر عن شخصيته الفنية، ليصبح أحد الأسماء الحاضرة في عدد من الأوبريتات الوطنية والأعمال الجماعية والمناسبات الرسمية.
عرفه المقربون بهدوئه وأخلاقه العالية وابتعاده عن الجدل، فيما ظل محافظاً على علاقاته الإنسانية مع زملائه وأصدقائه داخل الوسط الفني وخارجه. ولم يكن ظهوره الإعلامي خلال السنوات الأخيرة متكرراً، إذ فضّل أن يتحدث عنه عمله أكثر من حضوره الشخصي.
ومع إعلان وفاته، امتلأت منصات التواصل برسائل النعي والدعاء، واستعاد كثيرون محطات من رحلته الفنية التي امتدت بين الغناء والتلحين، مؤكدين أن الراحل ترك أثراً طيباً في ذاكرة من عرفوه، وأن سيرته ستبقى حاضرة بما قدمه من أعمال وما تركه من ذكر حسن بين الناس.

Abdullah Al-Qarni's journey with art began through singing, but the most significant turning point in his career came in 2007 when he was crowned the winner of the third season of the "Stars of the Gulf" program, an achievement that opened the doors to fame for him and granted him the opportunity to reach a wide audience in the Gulf and the Arab world.
As the years went by, he took a different path from many of his contemporaries, as he preferred to gradually distance himself from the spotlight and focus on composing and music production. There, he found the space that expressed his artistic personality, becoming one of the prominent names in several national operettas, collective works, and official events.
Those close to him knew him for his calm demeanor, high morals, and avoidance of controversy, while he maintained his human relationships with colleagues and friends both within and outside the artistic community. His media appearances in recent years were infrequent, as he preferred his work to speak for him more than his personal presence.
