سلّم قائد السيارة التي تسببت في وفاة الفنان الشاب كريم عبدالعليم نفسه إلى الأجهزة الأمنية، بعدما هرب من الموقع إثر الحادثة المرورية.
الإدلاء بالأقوال
وتوجه المتهم إلى قسم شرطة أكتوبر ثالث للإدلاء بأقواله حول الواقعة، وتبين أنه عامل يبلغ من العمر 23 عاماً، وكان يقود سيارة مملوكة لوالده، وظهرت بها تلفيات في الجزء الأمامي نتيجة الاصطدام.
وخلال التحقيقات الأولية، أقر قائد السيارة بارتكاب الواقعة، مؤكداً أنها حدثت دون قصد، فيما تحفظت الأجهزة الأمنية على السيارة والمتهم، وأُحيلت تفاصيل الحادثة إلى النيابة العامة لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة.
وفاة عبد المنعم
وفارق الفنان كريم محمد عبدالعليم عبدالمنعم، البالغ من العمر 29 عاماً، الحياة عقب تعرضه لحادثة سير أثناء عبوره طريق الواحات بمدينة السادس من أكتوبر، إذ صدمته سيارة أثناء عودته من عمله، قبل أن يغادر قائدها مكان الحادثة.
وتلقى قسم شرطة أكتوبر ثالث بلاغاً من مستشفى الشيخ زايد العام يفيد بوصول كريم عبدالعليم جثة هامدة، إثر إصابته بكسور وجروح متفرقة في أنحاء الجسد، بعد وقوع الحادثة بالقرب من إحدى محطات الوقود بطريق الواحات.
وانتقلت قوات الأمن إلى موقع الحادثة، وبدأت أعمال الفحص وجمع المعلومات، إلى جانب الاستماع لأقوال الشهود وأسرة الفنان الراحل، بهدف تحديد ملابسات الحادثة.
وقال عمر محمد عبدالعليم، شقيق الفنان الراحل، إن كريم كان في طريق عودته إلى المنزل بعد انتهاء عمله بمدينة الإنتاج الإعلامي، موضحاً أنه تعرض للدهس أثناء محاولته عبور الطريق لاستقلال سيارة أجرة.
وأضاف: قائد السيارة فرّ من المكان عقب الحادثة، قبل أن تتواصل جهود البحث التي انتهت بتحديد هويته وحضوره إلى قسم الشرطة.
وكانت الأجهزة الأمنية بالجيزة قد كثفت تحركاتها لكشف تفاصيل الواقعة، تحت إشراف القيادات المختصة، بعد وفاة الفنان الشاب الذي كان في بداية مشواره الفني وشارك في عدد من الأعمال الدرامية.

Giving Statements
The accused went to the October 3rd police station to give his statements regarding the incident, and it turned out that he is a 23-year-old worker who was driving a car owned by his father, which showed damages to the front part as a result of the collision.
During the initial investigations, the driver admitted to committing the incident, confirming that it happened unintentionally, while the security authorities retained the car and the accused, and the details of the incident were referred to the public prosecution to take the necessary legal actions.
Death of Abdel Moneim
The artist Karim Mohamed Abdel Aleem Abdel Moneim, 29 years old, passed away after being involved in a traffic accident while crossing the Wahat Road in the Sixth of October City, as he was hit by a car while returning from work, before the driver left the scene of the accident.
The October 3rd police station received a report from Sheikh Zayed General Hospital stating that Karim Abdel Aleem arrived dead, having sustained fractures and various injuries throughout his body, after the accident occurred near one of the gas stations on Wahat Road.
Security forces moved to the scene of the accident and began examining and gathering information, in addition to listening to the statements of witnesses and the family of the deceased artist, in order to determine the circumstances of the incident.
Omar Mohamed Abdel Aleem, the brother of the late artist, stated that Karim was on his way home after finishing his work at the Media Production City, explaining that he was run over while trying to cross the road to take a taxi.
He added: The driver fled the scene after the accident, before the search efforts concluded with identifying his identity and him coming to the police station.
The security authorities in Giza had intensified their efforts to uncover the details of the incident, under the supervision of the relevant leadership, following the death of the young artist who was at the beginning of his artistic career and had participated in several dramatic works.
