أعلنت الفنانة المصرية المعتزلة شمس البارودي، صباح اليوم الخميس، عبر صفحتها الرسمية على «فيسبوك» عن وفاة خالها، معربة عن حزنها العميق لفقده.
منشور مؤثر
وكتبت شمس البارودي في منشورها المؤثر: «انتقل من دار الفناء إلى دار البقاء، وحلقت روحه لتلتقي بالأحباب في البرزخ، حبيبي خالي فكري.. رحمات ربي تشملك وكل من سبقونا من الأحباب».
المطالبة بالدعاء
ودعت الفنانة الله أن يتغمده بواسع رحمته ويسكنه فسيح جناته، مظهرة في كلماتها مشاعر الحزن والفقد الصادقة، مطالبة من متابعيها الدعاء له بالمغفرة.
سبب اعتزالها الفن
يشار إلى أن شمس البارودي اختارت الاعتزال في أوج شهرتها وشبابها بعد أداء العمرة عام 1982، مفضلةً التفرغ للعبادة ولأسرتها، حيث تزوجت من الفنان الراحل حسن يوسف وأنجبت منه أربعة أبناء، ولم تعد إلى الأضواء رغم تلقيها العديد من عروض العودة للتمثيل.
الندم على الأعمال الفنية
تبرأت شمس البارودي من جميع الأعمال التي قدمتها خلال مسيرتها الفنية، معبرة عن ندمها على بعض الأدوار التي شاركت فيها، مشيرة إلى أنها تمنت عدم تقديمها.
وأضافت في منشور عبر حساباتها الشخصية بمنصات التواصل الاجتماعي، أنها تشعر بالاستياء من توجيه الانتقادات لها، خصوصًا أن العديد من فنانات جيلها قدمن أدوارًا مماثلة جريئة في تلك الفترة.

Shams Al-Baroudi wrote in her emotional post: "He has moved from the abode of mortality to the abode of eternity, and his soul has soared to meet the loved ones in the afterlife. My dear uncle Fikri.. may God's mercy encompass you and all those who preceded us from our loved ones."
Request for Prayers
The artist prayed to God to envelop him in His vast mercy and grant him a place in His spacious gardens, expressing in her words sincere feelings of sadness and loss, asking her followers to pray for his forgiveness.
Reason for Her Retirement from Art
It is noteworthy that Shams Al-Baroudi chose to retire at the peak of her fame and youth after performing Umrah in 1982, preferring to dedicate herself to worship and her family. She married the late artist Hassan Youssef and had four children with him, and she did not return to the spotlight despite receiving many offers to return to acting.
Regret Over Artistic Works
Shams Al-Baroudi disavowed all the works she presented during her artistic career, expressing her regret over some roles she participated in, indicating that she wished she had not performed them.
She added in a post on her personal accounts on social media platforms that she feels displeased with the criticism directed at her, especially since many actresses of her generation presented similar bold roles during that period.
