تعرض دار Iconic Auctioneers في بريطانيا سيارة جاغوار E-Type الأسطورية، التي قادها النجم البريطاني مستر بين في مسلسل Man vs Bee، للبيع في مزاد علني تنظمه نوفمبر القادم.
ويتوقع الخبراء أن يتجاوز سعرها حاجز المليون دولار، نظرًا لارتباطها بنجم الكوميديا العالمي وقيمتها التاريخية.
السيارة، موديل 1963 ورقم الهيكل #2، كانت أول طراز من سلسلة E-Type يُعرض للجمهور خلال معرض جنيف للسيارات عام 1961.
وبعد فترة قضتها في الولايات المتحدة، عادت إلى المملكة المتحدة عام 1989، حيث خضعت لعملية ترميم شاملة أعادت إليها رونقها الأصلي مع الحفاظ على أصالتها.
ولا يقتصر تاريخ السيارة على قيمتها الفنية فقط، إذ لعبت دورًا رئيسيًّا في أحداث مسلسل Man vs Bee، الذي يتابع شخصية «تريفور بينغلي» في مغامراته الكوميدية مع نحلة؛ ما جعلها أيقونة محبوبة لدى جمهور المسلسل ومحبي روان أتكينسون.
The Iconic Auctioneers house in Britain is offering the legendary Jaguar E-Type, driven by British star Mr. Bean in the series Man vs Bee, for sale at a public auction scheduled for next November.
Experts expect its price to exceed one million dollars, due to its association with the global comedy star and its historical value.
The car, a 1963 model with chassis number #2, was the first model from the E-Type series to be showcased to the public at the Geneva Motor Show in 1961.
After spending some time in the United States, it returned to the United Kingdom in 1989, where it underwent a comprehensive restoration that brought back its original luster while preserving its authenticity.
The car's history is not limited to its artistic value alone, as it played a key role in the events of the series Man vs Bee, which follows the character "Trevor Bingley" in his comedic adventures with a bee; making it a beloved icon among the show's audience and fans of Rowan Atkinson.
