أعلنت إدارة مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي في دورته الـ46، التي تُقام خلال الفترة من 12 إلى 21 نوفمبر 2025، تكريم مجموعة من أبرز رموز الفن في الوطن العربي، بمنحهم جائزة الهرم الذهبي لإنجاز العمر، تقديراً لمسيرتهم الفنية الثرية وإسهاماتهم المؤثرة في صناعة السينما.
وقررت إدارة المهرجان منح الجائزة لكل من المخرج المصري محمد عبدالعزيز ومدير التصوير السينمائي محمود عبدالسميع، تقديراً لعطائهما الكبير وإبداعهما المتواصل الذي شكّل جزءاً مهماً من تاريخ السينما المصرية.
كما يكرم المهرجان هذا العام الممثلة والكاتبة والمخرجة الفلسطينية هيام عباس، تقديراً لمسيرتها الحافلة بالأعمال التي سلطت الضوء على القضايا الإنسانية والاجتماعية، وإسهامها في إيصال صوت القضية الفلسطينية وتجارب الشعوب العربية إلى العالم من خلال فن راقٍ وملتزم.
مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي تأسس عام 1976، ويعد أحد أعرق المهرجانات في العالم العربي وأفريقيا.
The Cairo International Film Festival's administration announced that in its 46th edition, which will take place from November 12 to 21, 2025, it will honor a group of the most prominent icons of art in the Arab world by awarding them the Golden Pyramid for Lifetime Achievement, in recognition of their rich artistic careers and their impactful contributions to the film industry.
The festival's administration decided to grant the award to Egyptian director Mohamed Abdel Aziz and cinematographer Mahmoud Abdel Samie, in appreciation of their significant contributions and continuous creativity that have formed an important part of the history of Egyptian cinema.
This year, the festival will also honor Palestinian actress, writer, and director Hiam Abbas, in recognition of her career filled with works that shed light on humanitarian and social issues, and her contribution to conveying the voice of the Palestinian cause and the experiences of Arab peoples to the world through refined and committed art.
The Cairo International Film Festival was established in 1976 and is considered one of the oldest festivals in the Arab world and Africa.
