أعلن مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي تكريم الفنان المصري خالد النبوي بجائزة فاتن حمامة للتميز في دورته الـ46، احتفاء بمسيرته الحافلة التي تمتد على مدى أكثر من 35 سنة، والمقرر أن يقام في الفترة من 12 إلى 21 نوفمبر 2025.

وقال حسين فهمي خلال المؤتمر الصحفي للمهرجان، الذي عقد ظهر اليوم، إن خالد النبوي يعد واحدًا من أبرز نجوم جيله وأكثرهم وعيًا بفكرة الفن رسالة ثقافية وإنسانية تتجاوز حدود المحلية، لافتًا أنه بدأ مشواره في نهاية الثمانينيات بخطوات متأنية في السينما والتلفزيون، ثم سرعان ما لفت الأنظار بموهبته المركّبة وقدرته على بناء الشخصية من الداخل، عبر ملامح نفسية دقيقة وصوت يوازن بين القوة والهدوء.
مشوار حافل
يذكر النبوي أن تخرج في المعهد العالي للفنون المسرحية عام 1989، وهو العام الذي شهد عرض فيلمه الأول «ليلة عسل» مع المخرج محمد عبدالعزيز، الذي تبعه بفيلم «المواطن مصري» مع مخرج كبير آخر هو صلاح أبو سيف، حتى جاءت انطلاقته السينمائية الكبرى في فيلم «المهاجر» عام 1994 مع يوسف شاهين، الذي مثّل نقطة تحوّل في مسيرته وفتح له أبواب العالمية.
أهم الأعمال
قدم النبوي بعد ذلك مجموعة من الأفلام التي كرّسته واحدًا من الوجوه الأكثر حضورًا في السينما المصرية الحديثة، من بينها «المصير»، و«عمر 2000»، و«الديلر»، و«المسافر»، وغيرها من الأفلام.
مشاركات هوليوود
كما دخل النبوي بوابة هوليوود في مشواره الفني، حيث شارك في أعمال بارزة مثل «Kingdom of Heaven» لريدلي سكوت، و«Fair Game» إلى جانب ناعومي واتس وشون بن، و«The Citizen » الذي كان بطولة مطلقة له وشارك من خلاله في مهرجانات دولية عدة.

Hussein Fahmy said during the festival's press conference, held this afternoon, that Khaled El Nabawy is considered one of the most prominent stars of his generation and one of the most aware of the idea that art is a cultural and humanitarian message that transcends local boundaries. He pointed out that El Nabawy began his journey in the late 1980s with careful steps in cinema and television, quickly attracting attention with his complex talent and ability to build a character from within, through subtle psychological features and a voice that balances strength and calmness.
A Rich Journey
It is noted that El Nabawy graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1989, the year that saw the release of his first film "A Night of Honey" with director Mohamed Abdel Aziz, followed by the film "The Egyptian Citizen" with another great director, Salah Abu Seif, until his major cinematic breakthrough came in the film "The Emigrant" in 1994 with Youssef Chahine, which represented a turning point in his career and opened the doors to international recognition.
Major Works
El Nabawy then presented a series of films that established him as one of the most prominent faces in modern Egyptian cinema, including "Destiny," "Omar 2000," "The Dealer," "The Traveler," and other films.
Hollywood Contributions
El Nabawy also entered the Hollywood scene in his artistic journey, participating in notable works such as "Kingdom of Heaven" directed by Ridley Scott, "Fair Game" alongside Naomi Watts and Sean Penn, and "The Citizen," which was a leading role for him and through which he participated in several international festivals.
