انتشر في الساعات الأخيرة مقطع فيديو للفنان السوري باسل خياط، ظهر خلاله متأثراً بوعكة صحية واضحة أجبرته على المشي بصعوبة، أثناء تكريمه بحفل افتتاح الدورة الـ12 من مهرجان الشارقة السينمائي الدولي للأطفال والشباب.
وظهر خياط في المقطع المصور وهو يصعد بصعوبة إلى المسرح لتسلّم جائزة الإنجاز مدى الحياة، إذ بدا أنه يعاني من آلام في قدمه، واضطر إلى المشي ببطء والاستعانة بأحد المنظمين لمساعدته على صعود الدرج، في مشهد أثار تعاطف الحضور ومتابعيه عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.
وانتشر المقطع بشكل واسع، وسط دعوات بالشفاء العاجل لباسم الخياط، ولم يصدر حتى الآن أي بيان رسمي يوضح حالته الصحية أو يطمئن جمهوره بشأن وضعه.
في المقابل، اكتفى باسل خياط بمشاركة صورة لجائزته عبر حسابه الرسمي على منصة «إنستغرام»، وعبّر عن سعادته بالتكريم قائلاً: «أعتز بهذا التكريم ويشرّفني لأنه آتٍ من قلوب تنبض بالأمل والمستقبل، كل الحب والاحترام».
A video clip of the Syrian artist Basel Khayat has circulated in recent hours, showing him visibly affected by a health issue that forced him to walk with difficulty during his recognition at the opening ceremony of the 12th Sharjah International Film Festival for Children and Youth.
Khayat appeared in the video as he struggled to ascend the stage to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, as he seemed to be suffering from pain in his foot, having to walk slowly and rely on one of the organizers to help him up the stairs, in a scene that evoked sympathy from the audience and his followers on social media.
The clip spread widely, amid calls for a speedy recovery for Basel Khayat, and no official statement has been issued yet to clarify his health condition or reassure his fans about his status.
In contrast, Basel Khayat contented himself with sharing a picture of his award on his official Instagram account, expressing his happiness with the recognition by saying: "I take pride in this honor, and it is an honor for me because it comes from hearts that beat with hope and the future, all love and respect."
