أعلن مهرجان الجونة السينمائي اختيار الفنانة المصرية منة شلبي لتكريمها بجائزة «الإنجاز الإبداعي» في دورته الثامنة، المقرر إقامتها في الفترة من 16 إلى 24 أكتوبر 2025، حيث تُمنح هذه الجائزة سنوياً للمبدعين الذين تركوا بصمة لا تُمحى في السينما خلال مسيرتهم الفنية.
مسيرة فنية حافلة بالنجاحات
انطلقت مسيرة منة شلبي الفنية عام 2000 عبر مسلسل «سلمى يا سلامة» بعد اكتشافها على يد الفنانة الراحلة سميحة أيوب، لتتألق سريعاً بموهبتها الفطرية، وفي عام 2001، برزت أمام النجم الراحل محمود عبد العزيز في فيلم «الساحر»، ثم أبدعت في مسلسل «حديث الصباح والمساء» المقتبس عن رواية نجيب محفوظ.
تعاونت منة مع كبار المخرجين في أعمال شكلت محطات رئيسية في مسيرتها، أبرزها «بحب السيما» عام 2004 مع أسامة فوزي، «هي فوضى» عام 2007 مع يوسف شاهين عُرض في مهرجان فينيسيا، «بنات وسط البلد» عام 2005 مع محمد خان، «بعد الموقعة» عام 2012 مع يسري نصر الله وغيرها من الأفلام.
إطلالة قوية على الشاشة وجوائز مرموقة
قدمت منة شلبي أكثر من 40 فيلماً سينمائياً ونحو 20 مسلسلاً درامياً، تنوعت أدوارها بين الكوميديا، التراجيديا، الرومانسية، والدراما الاجتماعية، لتصبح واحدة من أبرز نجمات جيلها وأكثرهن تأثيراً.
حصدت منة شلبي عدة جوائز مرموقة، منها أفضل ممثلة عن «بنات وسط البلد» من جمعية الفيلم عام 2005، أفضل دور نسائي أول عن «العشق والهوى» من المهرجان القومي للسينما المصرية عام 2006، أفضل ممثلة عن «نوارة» من مهرجان دبي السينمائي الدولي عام 2015، جائزة فاتن حمامة للتميز من مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي عام 2019.
حضور دولي ومكانة راسخة
شاركت منة شلبي في لجان تحكيم دولية، منها المسابقة الرسمية لمهرجان قرطاج السينمائي عام 2014، ولجنة تحكيم الأفلام الروائية الطويلة في مهرجان الجونة السينمائي في دورتيه الخامسة عام 2021 والسابعة 2024، ما يعكس مكانتها كواحدة من أبرز نجمات السينما العربية المعاصرة على المستوى العربي والدولي.
The El Gouna Film Festival announced the selection of Egyptian actress Menna Shalaby to be honored with the "Creative Achievement" award at its eighth edition, scheduled to take place from October 16 to 24, 2025. This award is given annually to creators who have left an indelible mark on cinema throughout their artistic careers.
A Successful Artistic Journey
Menna Shalaby's artistic journey began in 2000 with the series "Salma Ya Salama," after being discovered by the late actress Samira Ayyoub. She quickly shone with her innate talent, and in 2001, she starred alongside the late Mahmoud Abdel Aziz in the film "The Magician," then excelled in the series "The Morning and Evening Talk," adapted from a novel by Naguib Mahfouz.
Menna collaborated with top directors in works that formed key milestones in her career, most notably "I Love Cinema" in 2004 with Osama Fawzy, "Chaos" in 2007 with Youssef Chahine, which was screened at the Venice Film Festival, "Girls of Downtown" in 2005 with Mohamed Khan, "After the Battle" in 2012 with Yousri Nasrallah, among other films.
A Strong Presence on Screen and Prestigious Awards
Menna Shalaby has presented more than 40 films and around 20 drama series, with roles that varied between comedy, tragedy, romance, and social drama, making her one of the most prominent and influential stars of her generation.
She has won several prestigious awards, including Best Actress for "Girls of Downtown" from the Film Society in 2005, Best Leading Female Role for "Love and Passion" from the National Festival for Egyptian Cinema in 2006, Best Actress for "Nawara" from the Dubai International Film Festival in 2015, and the Faten Hamama Excellence Award from the Cairo International Film Festival in 2019.
International Presence and Established Status
Menna Shalaby has participated in international judging panels, including the official competition of the Carthage Film Festival in 2014, and the long feature film jury at the El Gouna Film Festival in its fifth edition in 2021 and seventh edition in 2024, reflecting her status as one of the most prominent stars of contemporary Arab cinema on both Arab and international levels.
