أعلنت اللجنة المختصة باختيار الفيلم المصري المرشح لجوائز الأوسكار عن ترشيح فيلم «عيد ميلاد سعيد» بطولة النجمة نيللي كريم، بعد أن حصل على أغلبية أصوات الأعضاء من الجولة الأولى للتصويت، متفوقاً على الأفلام النهائية المنافسة؛ «البحث عن منفذ لخروج السيد رامبو»، «رفعت عيني للسما»، «سنو وايت»، «شرق 12»، «الهوى سلطان»، «ضي».
موعد العرض بدور السينما
وقررت اللجنة في اجتماعها، أمس، الذي حضره 16 عضواً من أعضاء لجنة الاختيار، طرح فيلم «عيد ميلاد سعيد» بدور العرض السينمائي تجارياً يوم 17 سبتمبر الجاري.
الفيلم من بطولة نيللي كريم، حنان مطاوع، شريف سلامة، والطفلة ضحى رمضان، وتأليف سارة جوهر وزوجها المخرج محمد دياب الذي شارك أيضاً في إنتاجه إلى جانب أحمد الدسوقي، أحمد عباس، أحمد بدوي، بمشاركة النجم والمنتج الأمريكي جيمي فوكس.
«عيد ميلاد سعيد» يفتتح مهرجان الجونة
كما أعلنت إدارة مهرجان الجونة السينمائي عن اختيار الفيلم ليكون فيلم افتتاح الدورة الثامنة المقرر انعقادها في الفترة من 16 إلى 24 أكتوبر 2025، بحضور فريق العمل ونجوم الفن.

من جانبها، علّقت الفنانة المصرية حنان مطاوع على هذا الاختيار، معربة عن سعادتها الكبيرة بمشاركتها في الفيلم، وكتبت عبر حسابها الرسمي على «فيسبوك»: «اللهم لك الحمد والشكر».

The committee decided in its meeting yesterday, attended by 16 members of the selection committee, to release the film "Happy Birthday" commercially in cinemas on September 17 of this year.
The film stars Nelly Karim, Hanan Motawaa, Sherif Salama, and the child Doaa Ramadan, and it is written by Sara Jouhar and her husband, director Mohamed Diab, who also participated in its production alongside Ahmed El Desouki, Ahmed Abbas, and Ahmed Badawy, with the participation of American star and producer Jamie Foxx.
"Happy Birthday" Opens the El Gouna Film Festival
The management of the El Gouna Film Festival also announced the selection of the film to be the opening film of the eighth edition, scheduled to take place from October 16 to 24, 2025, with the attendance of the cast and art stars.

For her part, Egyptian actress Hanan Motawaa commented on this selection, expressing her great happiness at participating in the film, and she wrote on her official Facebook account: "Thank God for Your praise and gratitude."
