خرجت الفنانة اللبنانية سميرة توفيق، للرد على الشائعات المتداولة حول وفاتها بالفترة الماضية، بعد تعرضها لوعكة صحية، ما أثار قلق جمهورها ومحبيها في الوطن العربي.

وطمأنت سميرة توفيق، جمهورها ومحبيها من خلال رسالة صوتية، عبر حسابها الشخصي على منصة «إنستغرام»، حيث قالت إنها ما زالت على قيد الحياة وخضعت سابقاً لعملية قسطرة وتحسنت حالياً حالتها الصحية.

وأشارت سميرة توفيق إلى أنها تستكمل علاجها والرعاية الطبية في منزلها الخاص، موجهة الشكر كل جمهورها الذين حرصوا في السؤال عليها، قائلة: «وضعي الصحي أحسن، وعملت قسطرة، والحمد لله.. وبشكر كل الناس اللي دعوا لي وتمنوا لي الشفاء».
يذكر أن الفنانة سميرة توفيق لُقبت بـ«سمراء البادية» وما زالت أعمالها حاضرة في قلوب جمهورها، وعُرفت بتقديمها اللون الغنائي البدوي الذي ميّزها منذ بداياتها.

وظهرت سميرة توفيق موهبتها الغنائية منذ الصغر، حيث بدأت بإحياء الحفلات على مسارح بيروت الخاصة بالعائلات عندما كانت في الثالثة عشرة من عمرها.
يشار إلي أن سميرة توفيق قدمت العديد من الأعمال السينمائية المميزة خلال مسيرتها الفنية ومنها، «عتا، وفاتنة الصحراء، وأيام في لندن، وبنت عنتر، والاستعراض الكبير، والقاهرون» وغيرها.

I thank everyone who prayed for me and wished me recovery."
It is worth mentioning that the artist Samira Tawfik is nicknamed "The Dark-Skinned Woman of the Desert," and her works remain present in the hearts of her audience. She is known for presenting the Bedouin musical style that distinguished her since her beginnings.
