أثارت الصورة التي نشرتها وسام حامد، زوجة الفنان سامح حسين، قلق جمهوره، بعدما ظهر داخل أحد المستشفيات الكبرى بالقاهرة، إثر تعرضه لوعكة صحية مفاجئة. وحرصت زوجته على طمأنة محبيه، مؤكدة أن حالته مستقرة، داعية له بالشفاء العاجل بقولها: «حمداً لله على سلامتك، وربنا يتم شفاءك على خير».
وكان سامح حسين قد كشف بنفسه، عبر حسابه على «فيسبوك»، عن تعرضه لأزمة صحية دون الخوض في تفاصيلها، مكتفياً بدعاء مؤثر يطلب فيه الشفاء من الله. ولاقى منشوره تفاعلاً واسعاً من جمهوره وزملائه في الوسط الفني الذين تمنوا له تمام العافية.
يذكر أن آخر أعمال الفنان سامح حسين كان فيلم «استنساخ»، الذي عالج قضية سيطرة الذكاء الاصطناعي على مجريات الحياة، بمشاركة نخبة من الفنانين أبرزهم هبة مجدي، هاجر الشرنوبي، محمد عز، من تأليف وإخراج عبدالرحمن محمد.

Samah Hussein himself revealed, via his Facebook account, that he had experienced a health crisis without going into details, merely sharing a heartfelt prayer asking for healing from God. His post received widespread interaction from his fans and colleagues in the artistic community who wished him a full recovery.
It is worth mentioning that the last work of artist Samah Hussein was the film "Cloning," which addressed the issue of artificial intelligence's control over the course of life, featuring a selection of artists including Hiba Magdy, Hagar El Sharnooby, and Mohamed Ezz, written and directed by Abdulrahman Mohamed.
