Khaled Saafan, the son of the late Egyptian artist Ibrahim Saafan, announced the sudden death of his brother Ibrahim without revealing the reasons for his passing.

Khaled Saafan posted on his personal page on "Facebook," saying: "To God we belong, my brother Nabawy Ibrahim Saafan has passed away... Please pray for him for mercy and forgiveness."

For his part, a close family friend revealed the details of the funeral on his personal account on the "Facebook" platform, stating that the burial is scheduled for today, Sunday, after the noon prayer at Al-Siddiq Mosque in Sheraton Housing in Cairo.

It is worth noting that the late artist Ibrahim Saafan was one of the most famous comedians of the golden age, known for his wit, talent, and acting performance. He excelled in professional comedic roles and was able to bring joy to every character he portrayed, whether in cinema or theater. One of his most memorable roles that still lingers in the audience's mind is "Shanab Al-Nag'awi" in the film "30 Days in Prison," which he performed alongside the screen monster Farid Shawki.
