أعرب الفنان الشاب أحمد عصام السيد عن سعادته بردود الفعل الإيجابية على دوره في مسلسل «كتالوج»، مؤكداً أن العمل حقق نجاحاً جماهيرياً بفضل قصته الواقعية التي تمس كل بيت مصري، وتتناول تربية الأطفال في ظل غياب الأم.
وفي تصريح خاص لـ«عكاظ» أوضح أنه وافق على المشاركة في المسلسل دون تردد، نظراً لاحترافية كاتبه أيمن وتار، ولتميز فريق العمل الذي اعتبر التعاون معه فرصة يعتز بها أي فنان.
وعن كواليس مشاهده المؤثرة مع الفنانة حنان مطاوع، أشار أحمد عصام السيد إلى أنه شعر برهبة كبيرة أمام كاميرا التمثيل معها، لما تتمتع به من احترافية وشعبية واسعة، مؤكداً أن جميع المشاهد كانت صعبة وتتطلب جهداً ووقتاً لإخراجها بالشكل المتميز الذي ظهر على الشاشة.
يذكر أن أحمد عصام السيد ينتمي لعائلة فنية، فوالدته هي الفنانة حنان يوسف، ووالده المخرج المسرحي عصام السيد، وهو خريج المعهد العالي للسينما، وشارك من قبل في أعمال أبرزها «عايشة الدور»، و«آل شنب».
The young artist Ahmed Essam El-Sayed expressed his happiness with the positive reactions to his role in the series "Catalog," confirming that the work has achieved popular success thanks to its realistic story that touches every Egyptian home, addressing the upbringing of children in the absence of a mother.
In a special statement to "Okaz," he clarified that he agreed to participate in the series without hesitation, due to the professionalism of its writer Ayman Watar, and the distinguished team, which he considered a valuable opportunity for any artist to collaborate with.
Regarding the behind-the-scenes of his emotional scenes with the artist Hanan Motawaa, Ahmed Essam El-Sayed pointed out that he felt a great awe in front of the acting camera with her, due to her professionalism and wide popularity, confirming that all the scenes were difficult and required effort and time to present them in the distinguished manner that appeared on screen.
It is worth noting that Ahmed Essam El-Sayed comes from an artistic family; his mother is the artist Hanan Youssef, and his father is the theater director Essam El-Sayed. He is a graduate of the Higher Institute of Cinema and has previously participated in works such as "Aisha El-Dor" and "Al-Shanab".
