وشارك محمد رمضان عدداً من الصور لكواليس زيارته لزوجة نجل الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، عبر حسابه بمنصة «فيسبوك»، وعلق على الزيارة قائلاً: «سعيدٌ بدعوتي من السيدة لارا ترمب وتقديرها لقارتي الأفريقية، وهذا تقديرٌ أيضاً للموسيقى العربية الأفريقية.. شيءٌ عظيم قادم إن شاء الله».

أثارت تلك الصورة تساؤلات الجمهور حول سبب تجمع لارا ترمب ومحمد رمضان، وتبين في الصور التي نشرها رمضان بأنهما وقفا خلف لافتة حملت اسم «Make Music Right»، وهو حفل إطلاق حملة جمع التبرعات الرسمية لمبادرة «اصنع موسيقى صحيحة»، التي كانت فيها لارا ترمب الضيفة الرئيسية للاحتفالية.

وحسب الموقع الرسمي للمبادرة، يتطلب من حضور الحفل دفع مبلغ مادي مقابل التذاكر، فوفقاً لما جاء في الإعلان الخاص بالفعالية، فإن فئات الأسعار هي كما يلي: تذكرة الحضور العادية: 1000 دولار، وتذكرة VIP: بـ2500 دولار، وصور VIP: بـ3500 دولار، ليطرح السؤال نفسه هل دفع محمد رمضان مبلغاً مالياً (3500 دولار) لالتقاط صورة مع لارا ترمب؟
