كشف الفنان المصري أحمد العوضي، التفاصيل الأولى لفكرة مسلسله الجديد الذي يحمل عنوان «علي كلاي»، الذي سينافس به في موسم رمضان 2026، مؤكداً أن العمل سيدور في إطار قصة شعبية.
وقال أحمد العوضي خلال بث مباشر عبر حسابه الشخصي على منصة «فيسبوك»، إن مسلسله الرمضاني الجديد سيكون مختلفاً عما قدمه من قبل في أعماله الدرامية، متوقعاً أن يكون «رقم واحد» في الموسم، لأن «تيمة» العمل ستدور حول إطار بطل شعبي.
وتابع العوضي: «هعملكم مسلسل هيبقى رقم واحد، وآه البطل هيطلع جدع وبيضرب الناس كلها وابن بلد، ما هو اسمه البطل ليه؟ عشان يبقى كويس وتبقى عايز تقلده وتخلي أخوك الصغير زيه اطلعه وحش ليه؟ ما أطلع حلو».
ويقوم صناع العمل حالياً بوضع اللمسات النهائية على المسلسل تمهيداً لبدء التصوير خلال الفترة القادمة، والمسلسل سيكون من تأليف محمود حمدان وإخراج محمد عبدالسلام.
يذكر أن أحمد العوضي نافس في موسم رمضان 2025 بمسلسل «فهد البطل» الذي شارك فيه كل من: أحمد عبدالعزيز، ميرنا نورالدين، عصام السقا، لوسي، كارولين عزمي، عايدة رياض، صفاء الطوخي، حجاج عبدالعظيم، محمود البزاوي، يارا السكري، صفوة، وهو من تأليف محمود حمدان، وإخراج محمد عبدالسلام.

Ahmed El Awady stated during a live broadcast on his personal account on the "Facebook" platform that his new Ramadan series will be different from what he has previously presented in his dramatic works, expecting it to be "number one" in the season, because the "theme" of the work will revolve around a popular hero.
El Awady continued: "I will make you a series that will be number one, and yes, the hero will be tough and will fight everyone and be a man of the people. Why is he called a hero? So that he is good and you want to imitate him and make your little brother like him. Why should I make him bad? I will make him good."
The creators of the work are currently putting the finishing touches on the series in preparation for filming in the upcoming period, and the series will be written by Mahmoud Hamdan and directed by Mohamed Abdel Salam.
It is worth mentioning that Ahmed El Awady competed in the Ramadan 2025 season with the series "Fahd Al-Batal," which featured actors such as: Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Mirna Nour El Din, Essam El Sakka, Lousy, Caroline Azmy, Aida Riyad, Safaa El Toukhi, Haggag Abdel Azim, Mahmoud El Bazawy, Yara El Sokary, and Safwa. The series was written by Mahmoud Hamdan and directed by Mohamed Abdel Salam.
