أكدت الفنانة المصرية فدوى عابد لـ«عكاظ» أنها تعتبر مدينة جدة بيتها الأساسي؛ لأنها شهدت ولادتها وعادت إلى القاهرة في سن الـ 17 عاماً، مشيرة إلى أنها تحب أجواء البحر والطقس والحياة في «العروس».
وأوضحت أنها تتمنى تقديم أعمال مسرحية في السعودية بالفترة القادمة خصوصا أنها لم تقدم مسرحا من قبل طوال حياتها، متمنية أن تكون جميع أعمالها تنال استحسان الجمهور السعودي الذي تعتز به.
وبشأن أعمالها الفنية الجديدة، ردت «فدوى» أنها انتهت من تصوير فيلم «برشامة» منذ فترة وتنتظر عرضه وما زالت تواصل تصوير مشاهدها في الجزء الثاني من فيلم «السلم والثعبان 2»، مردفة أنها تحدت نفسها بالعملين المختلفين التي تقدم من خلاهما أدوارا مختلفة وقامت بتصويرهما في نفس الوقت.
يذكر أن فدوى عابد حصدت استحسانًا واسعًا من الجمهور والنقاد على دورها في مسلسل «فات الميعاد» الذي عرض سابقاً، وشارك فيه نخبة من نجوم الفن مثل أسماء أبو اليزيد، أحمد مجدي، محمود البزاوي، محمد علي رزق، هاجر عفيفي، محمد أبو داود، وأحمد صفوت، المسلسل من تأليف عاطف ناشد، وإخراج سعد هنداوي.
The Egyptian artist Fadwa Abed confirmed to "Okaz" that she considers the city of Jeddah her main home; as it witnessed her birth, and she returned to Cairo at the age of 17, pointing out that she loves the atmosphere of the sea, the weather, and life in "the bride."
She explained that she hopes to present theatrical works in Saudi Arabia in the upcoming period, especially since she has never done theater throughout her life, wishing that all her works would be well-received by the Saudi audience, which she holds in high regard.
Regarding her new artistic works, Fadwa responded that she has finished filming the movie "Bershama" some time ago and is waiting for its release, and she is still continuing to film her scenes in the second part of the movie "Al-Salam wa Al-Thuban 2," adding that she challenged herself with the two different works in which she presents different roles and filmed them at the same time.
It is worth mentioning that Fadwa Abed received wide acclaim from the audience and critics for her role in the series "Fat Al-Mi'ad," which aired previously, featuring a selection of art stars such as Asmaa Abu Al-Yazid, Ahmed Magdy, Mahmoud Al-Bazawy, Mohamed Ali Rizk, Hagar Afifi, Mohamed Abu Dawood, and Ahmed Safwat. The series was written by Atef Nashed and directed by Saad Hendawy.
