رحل كينيث واشنطن، آخر أفراد الطاقم الرئيسي في مسلسل «أبطال هوغان»، عن عمر 89 عاماً، بعد مسيرة امتدت بين التلفزيون والتعليم.
وتوفي الممثل الأمريكي، عن عمر يناهز 89 عاماً، بعد عقود من الحضور الفني المتنوع، بوصفه آخر أعضاء طاقم التمثيل الرئيسي في المسلسل الكوميدي الأمريكي الشهير Hogan’s Heroes، الذي عُرض على شبكة CBS بين عامي 1965 و1971.
وكان واشنطن قد انضم إلى العمل في موسمه الأخير، مجسداً شخصية الرقيب ريتشارد بيكر، ليحل محل الممثل إيفان ديكسون. ورغم ظهوره المتأخر، فإنه ظلّ الوحيد الباقي على قيد الحياة من طاقم المسلسل الأصلي، بعد وفاة جميع زملائه خلال العقود الماضية.
واشتهر واشنطن خلال الستينات والسبعينات كوجه مألوف على شاشة التلفزيون الأمريكي، إذ شارك في عدد كبير من الأعمال الدرامية والكوميدية، من أبرزها: ستار تريك، أحلم بجيني (I Dream of Jeannie)، أبنائي الثلاثة (My Three Sons)، ماركوس ويلبي، دكتور في الطب (Marcus Welby, M.D.)، وآدم-12.
كما كان له حضور في السينما، من خلال مشاركته في فيلم الخيال العلمي الشهير Westworld الذي عُرض عام 1973، إلى جانب أدوار لافتة في مسلسلات مثل: عرض بول ليند، والملفات الفيدرالية، وقصة بوليسية، وملفات روكفورد.

The American actor died at the age of 89, after decades of diverse artistic presence, being the last member of the main cast of the famous American comedy series Hogan’s Heroes, which aired on CBS from 1965 to 1971.
Washington joined the show in its final season, portraying the character of Sergeant Richard Baker, replacing actor Ivan Dixon. Despite his late appearance, he remained the only surviving member of the original cast, after all his colleagues passed away over the past decades.
Washington became a familiar face on American television during the 1960s and 1970s, participating in a large number of dramatic and comedic works, including notable shows such as: Star Trek, I Dream of Jeannie, My Three Sons, Marcus Welby, M.D., and Adam-12.
He also made appearances in cinema, participating in the famous science fiction film Westworld, which was released in 1973, alongside notable roles in series such as: The Paul Lynde Show, The FBI, Police Story, and The Rockford Files.
