The Korean actress Kang Seo-ha passed away at the age of 31 after suffering from advanced-stage stomach cancer, according to a statement released by her family on their Instagram account. The family indicated that her health deteriorated significantly after the second round of chemotherapy, as she completely lost her appetite and was suffering from chronic pain.
Despite her suffering, she maintained her humanitarian spirit and paid for the meals of those around her even in her final days, which earned her widespread appreciation from the public. Kang began her artistic career in 2012 by appearing in a music video, and then shone in famous drama works such as "First Love Again" and "Across the Waves."
The Korean and Arab audiences reacted with great sadness to the news of her death, and her last film "In the Network" was considered a poignant artistic farewell. Her funeral will be held at St. Mary’s Hospital in Seoul, with her burial taking place in Ham-an on July 16.
Her early departure left a profound impact on the artistic community, as many described her as an artist who did not receive her full opportunity.
