أعرب الفنان المصري محمد صبحي عن شكره وتقديره للمخرج عمر زهران، لحرصه على حضور مسرحيته «فارس يكشف المستور».
وشارك صبحي صورة عبر حسابه الشخصي على «فيسبوك»، وعلق عليها قائلاً:«سعدت بحضور أعز أصدقائي المخرج عمر زهران، والكاتبة الإعلامية آمال عثمان، وكانت سعادتي غامرة بلقائي بصديقي المخرج والإنسان المحترم جداً عمر زهران.. أسعدتموني بمشاهدتكم لمسرحية فارس يكشف المستور».
ويعد هذا الظهور الأول للمخرج عمر زهران بعد خروجه من السجن منذ عدة أسابيع في قضية اتهامه بسرقة مجوهرات الفنانة التشكيلية شاليمار شربتلي (زوجة المخرج السينمائي خالد يوسف)، بعدما أصدرت محكمة النقض الأربعاء 18 يونيو حكمها في الطعن المقدم منه على حكم حبسه لمدة عام في القضية.

Sobhi shared a photo on his personal account on "Facebook," commenting: "I was delighted by the presence of my dear friends, director Omar Zahran and media writer Amal Othman. I was overjoyed to meet my friend, the very respectable director and person, Omar Zahran... You made me happy by watching the play 'A Knight Reveals the Hidden.'
This is the first appearance of director Omar Zahran after his release from prison a few weeks ago in the case of his accusation of stealing jewelry from the visual artist Shalimar Sherbatly (the wife of filmmaker Khaled Youssef), after the Court of Cassation issued its ruling on Wednesday, June 18, regarding his appeal against the one-year prison sentence in the case.
