أعلن نقيب المهن التمثيلية الفنان المصري أشرف زكي وفاة المخرج المصري سامح عبد العزيز، عن عمر يناهز 49 عاما، داخل أحد المستشفيات الكبرى بالقاهرة، بعد أيام من تعرضه لأزمة صحية مفاجئة أدت إلى نقله لغرفة الرعاية المركزة.
وكشف أشرف زكي موعد تشييع جنازة المخرج سامح عبد العزيز عبر حسابه الشخصي على «إنستغرام»: «رحيل المخرج الكبير سامح عبد العزيز.. الجنازة عصراً بمسجد الشرطة زايد».
والمخرج سامح عبد العزيز من مواليد 18 سبتمبر 1976، تخرج من قسم المونتاج بالمعهد العالي للسينما، بدأ مشواره كمخرج برامج، ثم تحوّل إلى الإخراج السينمائي، حيث تزوّج من الفنانة روبي عام 2014، وأنجب منها طفلة، وتم الانفصال في فبراير 2017.
وقدم المخرج سامح عبد العزيز العديد من الأعمال المميزة في مشواره الفني الطويل، ومن أبرز أعماله: «أسد وأربع قطط، الفرح، صرخة نملة، تيتة رهيبة، أحلام الفتى الطايش، حسن طيارة، حد سامع حاجة، تتح، حلاوة روح، الليلة الكبيرة، حملة فريزر، أبو شنب، خير وبركة، سوق الجمعة، تماسيح النيل».
كما أخرج العديد من الأعمال الدرامية، التي تركت بصمة خاصة في عالم الدراما، أبرزها: «مسلسل خيانة عهد، مسلسل يوتيرن»، وآخر أعماله الدرامية مسلسل «شهادة معاملة أطفال»، من بطولة محمد هنيدي، الذي عُرض خلال موسم رمضان 2025.
ويعد فيلم «الدشاش» آخر أعماله السينمائية الذي حقق نجاحاً واسعاً وقت عرضه بدور العرض، والعمل من بطولة محمد سعد، إلى جانب كل من: زينة، باسم سمرة، نسرين طافش، خالد الصاوي، مريم الجندي ونسرين أمين.
The head of the Actors' Syndicate, Egyptian artist Ashraf Zaki, announced the death of Egyptian director Samah Abdel Aziz, at the age of 49, inside one of the major hospitals in Cairo, after days of suffering from a sudden health crisis that led to his transfer to the intensive care unit.
Ashraf Zaki revealed the date of the funeral for director Samah Abdel Aziz through his personal account on Instagram: "The departure of the great director Samah Abdel Aziz... the funeral will be in the afternoon at the Police Mosque in Zayed."
Director Samah Abdel Aziz was born on September 18, 1976. He graduated from the editing department at the Higher Institute of Cinema. He began his career as a program director and then transitioned to film directing. He married actress Ruby in 2014 and had a daughter with her, but they separated in February 2017.
Director Samah Abdel Aziz presented many distinguished works throughout his long artistic career, with some of his most notable works including: "Lion and Four Cats, The Wedding, Ant's Scream, Terrible Grandma, The Dreams of the Reckless Boy, Hassan the Pilot, Is Anyone Listening?, Tita, The Sweetness of the Soul, The Big Night, The Freezer Campaign, Abu Shanab, Good and Blessing, Friday Market, Nile Crocodiles."
He also directed many dramatic works that left a special mark in the world of drama, most notably: "The Betrayal of Eid Series, U-Turn Series," and his latest dramatic work is the series "Child Treatment Certificate," starring Mohamed Henedy, which aired during the Ramadan season of 2025.
The film "Al-Dashash" is considered his last cinematic work, which achieved wide success at the time of its screening in theaters. The film stars Mohamed Saad, along with Zina, Basem Samra, Nasreen Tafesh, Khaled El Sawy, Mariam El Gendy, and Nasreen Amin.
