The Egyptian artist Tamer Hosny confirmed that the fire incident at Ramses Central illustrates the validity of his previous claim in his latest film "Restart" about the necessity of being prepared for a complete internet outage worldwide, and not overly relying on it for daily life details.

Tamer stated in a tweet on his official account on the "X" platform that the idea of his latest film "Restart" has become a reality, after the internet and communication means were disrupted due to the fire incident at "Ramses Central."

Tamer Hosny wrote in the tweet: "No internet, no calls, no banks, which means I was right when I demanded in the film that we, as countries and peoples, need to know how to act if the internet goes down."

Tamer Hosny continued: "We must secure ourselves, our children, our families, and the sick people in hospitals, because the situation is really serious, as literally our lives and interests have become entirely dependent on the internet."

A massive fire broke out in the "Ramses Central" building, one of the prominent commercial buildings in the heart of the Egyptian capital, Cairo, causing panic among passersby and workers in the bustling area.

Flames and thick smoke rose from the building, leading to a halt in traffic around Ramses Square, which is one of the busiest squares in the capital.
