The owner of Mona Lisa Artistic Production, producer Manal Al-Barbari, confirmed that she has filed a complaint with the Musicians' Syndicate against the Egyptian artist Mohamed Ramadan for what she described as artistic theft of her song "I Am a Millionaire," which was released for the first time five years ago, sung by artist Ahmed Jaafar.

She pointed out that she has also filed a complaint with the Economic Court to seek the return of her rights and the rights of the song's team, including the poet and artistic producer Yasser Abu Al-Dahab.

Al-Barbari said: "I was surprised last Ramadan when artist Mohamed Ramadan sang the lyrics of my song in his program 'Ramadan Cannon,' including the line 'Wherever I land, I win the love of its people,' which gained wide popularity."

She continued: "I contacted his brother Mahmoud Ramadan repeatedly for several days, and he acknowledged my rights and promised to look into the matter and resolve it after returning from the Coachella festival, but to no avail."

Al-Barbari added: "When the wait became long, I requested to communicate with Mohamed Ramadan personally, but I couldn't reach him. His brother told me he was in a rehearsal, and after a while, I was surprised to find that he had blocked me. When I spoke in a TV interview that Mohamed Ramadan is not a singer at all, but a good and brilliant actor, I said that if a singer with a voice like Mohamed Ramadan came to me, I wouldn't be able to help him."
