أكد الفنان المصري محمد رمضان، رفضه عرضا للقيام ببطولة مسلسل تلفزيوني مقابل أجر كان سيصبح الأعلى في تاريخه.
وقال رمضان مقطع فيديو نشره عبر حساباته الرسمية على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي: «آخر عرض حصلت عليه من أجل بطولة مسلسل تلفزيوني بلغت قيمته 4 ملايين دولار، أي ما يقترب من 200 مليون جنيه مصري».
وأضاف، تلقيت ذلك العرض قبل أسبوع واحد، ولكنني رفضته لتركيزي حالياً على فيلم «أسد»، انشغالي بالفيلم الذي أقوم ببطولته بعد «أسد».
ونفى رمضان غيابه عن الدراما التلفزيونية في رمضان لعامين بسبب ارتفاع أجره، وقال: «هذا الأمر غير حقيقي، ولن أسمح للأموال بأن تحرم جمهوري مني، والسبب الحقيقي في غيابي يعود إلى تركيزي المنصب على السينما في الآونة الأخيرة».
وأوضح بأن فيلم «الأسد» أخذ منه وقتا طويلا من أجل التحضيرات والتصوير، وحينما يشاهده الجمهور سيعلم كم الجهد المبذول فيه، وأنه عمل يستحق التركيز والتفرغ.
Egyptian artist Mohamed Ramadan confirmed his rejection of an offer to star in a television series for a fee that would have become the highest in his history.
Ramadan said in a video clip he posted on his official social media accounts: "The last offer I received for starring in a television series was valued at 4 million dollars, which is nearly 200 million Egyptian pounds."
He added, "I received that offer a week ago, but I rejected it because I am currently focused on the film 'Lion', and I am busy with the film I am starring in after 'Lion'."
Ramadan denied that his absence from television drama during Ramadan for two years was due to his high fees, saying: "This is not true, and I will not allow money to deprive my audience of me. The real reason for my absence is my recent focus on cinema."
He explained that the film "Lion" took a long time for preparations and filming, and when the audience sees it, they will know how much effort has been put into it, and that it is a work that deserves focus and dedication.
